I sent a picture of the style I wanted and a pic of the hair. I was told to buy different hair and given a style totally different from the picture and then told I didn't ask for the right braid method. After me crying she agreed to redo my hair but to buy more hair. I didn't have enough and offered to run to store for more and she sent me home half done..NEVER AGAIN $220 BLOWN...
I don't know who others dealt with but my experience was quite nice. I walked in without an appointment and let them know I wanted box braids as well as how long I wanted them. They got me in and out within 3-4 hours. The braids are neat and haven't had any issues. The 3 ladies I dealt with were really nice and professional. Definitely my number 1 spot for braids !
I am also new to the area and after reading all the negative post about MB African Braiding I cancel my appointment. when I called to make an appointment for the first time the lady was so rude and yelling at me on the phone, I couldn't hardly get a word in to tell her know what I really needed, it was unbelievable!
She never met me in her life. I would not recommend the African hair salon to anyone. They need to be reported and close down and take up some customer service skills.
Worst service ever. Never again. They are very rude and the braids are not what I expected. Especially after being quoted an OUTRAGEOUS price. ! Do not GO HERE! Save your money
I am new to the area and took my daughters to this salon based on a recommendation . I had seen many salons in the area advertise a much more reasonable price but I assumed I would get what I paid for, I was sadly mistaken. These are by far the worst looking micros I've ever seen. As a matter of fact ,they are no more than box braids that even though I bought more than enough hair, is very thin , the braids are waaay to thick and at best looks like someone's cousin did them on their porch far from a $160.00 job. I was told this price was based on length of your natural hair but please tell me what that has to do with anything if you don't braid to the end of the natural hair ? I would not recommend this salon to my worst enemy.

There's no denying that balayage is having a moment. This modern hair coloring technique has taken the beauty world by storm, and it's easy to see why. Balayage is a French word meaning "to sweep" or "to paint", and that's exactly what the colorist does.
