Luxe Day Spa & Salon in Fort Wayne, IN

I got my lashes done by Olga! They lasted for a month and I'm so happy with them every time. Her prices are much cheaper than most places and she really takes her time in making sure you're satisfied and relaxed! Please give her a try! You won't regret it.

I get my eyelash extensions done by Olga at Merle Norman off of ColdWater. She does an amazing job. One of the best part is she makes it so relaxing. They last for a long time before I have to get a fill. She also accommodates your schedule not just hers which is the best

Not sure why I'm even giving it one star! The hours were clearly shown on the front door when I pulled in,  but the doors were locked (during business hours) at 4:00 pm on a Friday because the person on duty was in the bathroom???I had to call them from my car that was directly facing the front window and was asked to make an appointment for eyelash extentions! I could see the person I was talking to inside the building on the phone with me! OMG! I don't know who owns this business and I've never been to a Merle Norman Studio before but based on this experience, and the fact that I went out of my way to go there.....this just felt like a recipe for disaster! This is the Coldwater Road location in Fort Wayne.

I found the services very professionally done, the  people very friendly and I bought some really unusual jewelry for a good price. Plus the lady helped me with the dark under my eyes and to top it off I got some make-up samples. Prices were reasonable and the place was clean. I have a follow up service next Tuesday. I like that there is a male make-up artist and a male manicurist too. Neat!

RUN QUICK!!! This was by FAR the worst experience with 'customer experience' that I have had in a very long time.

Two days before my wedding Merle Norman scheduled three of us to come in for the mani/pedi portion of the bridal package that we had set up over the phone. Every time we called in were told we would pay the package price on the day of the final services, which we were all ok with. After 4 hours in the store all three of us left frustrated and ashamed of the what should have been beautiful nails and toenails for the big day. They said goodbye when they were finished and that they would see us in two days for the final services on Saturday. I had the french manicure and I was caught off guard that they can only free hand it at this location. It was crooked wavy lines that I could have done myself!!! My sister's gel nails turned out so awful that they had to then be peeled off BY HERSELF IN THE STORE! After the nail tech had finished her nails the owner, Becky, walked over and said 'ew where were those done at?' To which my sister replied, here, 10 mins ago! They were awful.They also have no type of toenail dryer so I had to sit bare footed while the next girl had her nails done for an hour and yet the paint was still messed up!

We left for lunch and came to a consensus that none of us felt comfortable continuing services there. Not only was the mani/pedi botched but they weren't very friendly and talked down to even each other. I called in about 20 mins after we left and spoke with Becky. NEVER in this time did she tell me there was a 48 hour cancellation fee(which I was still an hour ahead of), but rather she said 'why don't you calm down and call me back with what you want to do!' RUDE?! I then called back an hour later to cancel the whole package and was then magically told that I would be charged the entire party's price (6 girls total). I said that I would like to see where this was in writing and what I signed to hold me to that. She said well there is nothing signed and then even admitted that they had run out of papers that said their policy on it, but that she could prove we had services done there.

After they strung me along PAST the 48 hour 'rule' Becky 'stepped out' of the office and that is when I had the FINE pleasure of then dealing with Peg the rest of the time. She was incredibly rude, condescending, unprofessional, and inappropriately pointing fingers and making accusations. She acted almost as if she was incapable of listening. She got on the phone and I explained that we were very unhappy with our services. Nothing looked professionally done. She then began saying that from what she understood was we walked out on rendered services and that I WAS A THIEF! (anyone that has EVER been in customer service or has any people skills knows this is never the way to try to make the customer feel better or want to do repeat business with you) I then again explained the situation, I was calling back in to pay for the botched job on the mani/pedi (they had my credit card already on file) but wanted to cancel the further appointments. Peg yet again began talking over me and became even more rude repeating herself saying from what she was gathering I walked out on rendered services and was refusing to pay so I was a thief and she would have to call the authorities!!!!!! ARE you kidding me?! One, the job was TERRIBLE but two, I was kind enough to call in and say use my credit card on file to pay for that worthless trip in because we wouldn't be returning on the day that I the final services were suppose to be given.

Peg then kept saying that I would also be charged for the whole bridal party of over $400 whether I showed up or not in two days. She said she would be using my credit card on file. I again asked for a copy of what I signed and she belligerently repeated that I didn't sign anything but that she could prove I was in!  it was like talking to someone that had no comprehension skills. she made the fatal error of talking too much and NEVER quieting to listen to the customer.  By this point, I was tired of arguing with her, she was unwilling to do anything to make the customer happy so one of the other bridesmaids took the phone and asked how she would like on her wedding day to spend the whole morning at a place that had just called her a thief and a liar. She promised that she would be pleasant on that day.

We went in on that day, the day of my wedding, and received ok service. It's sad to think that on my wedding day I was MADE to come in, MADE to  feel uncomfortable, and feel like I had to walk on pins and needles on what will be a day I will always want to remember as special. I will never return and I will be sure to spread the word and make sure any bride who wants a stress free memorable day steers clear of this place. If you want to work with professionals that know how to teat people with dignity, respect, and listen to what you actually want then choose elsewhere.
