Lotus 2 Salon in Indio, CA

This salon is definitely nothing to look at. Appears to have been last updated in the 80's but I don't care about that as long as you can get a good haircut, and owner Monica does exactly that. She asks what you want & double checks on the length & does what you say, not what she wants.

I got a hair cut from the fine young woman coz I won't let a guy touch my hair but she was nice cool and next time I go I'm gonna ask for her number coz she was beautiful

My mom has been bringing the family to Lotus for a little while now, and recently brought me, just after they moved into the east wing of the Indio Fashion Mall. We walking in as they were cleaning, and immediately the ladies broke into smiles and welcomed us. Apparently my dad had also just paid a visit, and we just missed him. I usually avoid salons because of an incident when I was in high school, and as such tend to put off getting a proper cut for years at a time. So there was a lot of damage and spilt ends that needed taking care of. My stylist was Rosario, and she was friendly and intuitive. She made a few suggestions and I could tell that she is good at reading what her customers feel about certain cuts. If I was indecisive about something she was able to suggest alternatives that were closer to what I wanted, instead of having trouble pinpointing something I couldn't quite express (I'm also really bad at knowing how I want my hair to look, reason 2 I avoid salons). Rosio did a good job once she figure out what I was asking for, showed me what she was going to be doing before getting started, which is always reassuring. I really like the end result, and my hair feels healthier than it has in a little while. My brother was also getting a cut, and Monica did a great job catering to a very finicky teenager. He came out looking so handsome and he looked like one of those K-pop stars he follows. Lotus 2 is a great place to bring the whole family for a good quality haircut! They take appointments and walkins!

I've going to this salon for a while now with Rocio and I've been very happy. FYI they recently moved to the Indio Fashion Mall (right next to the photo place). Their new location is very nice.

I was looking for a salon all around Indio that could braid my hair for Coachella fest. This place was by far the best choice! It was affordable and the service was great! I recommend this place and Rocio!
