They give a decent trim, I wouldn't go for anything very specific and technical- for example mens haircuts. I get a wash, trim and blowout and that costs $65 (tax and tip included). The girls are friendly and they listen. They are organized with their scheduling so you don't have to wait a long time. The best thing about this location is that they are right across from Boyano, which is my favorite tacky-Italian pastry shop in New York!
I have been going to the Lemon Tree sporadically over the years and have always been happy with my haircuts and color. Today, however, rather than going in for a service for myself I took my baby in for his very first haircut. Words cannot convey how much of a wonderful experience it was. The staff was incredibly friendly and patient with my son and Deena, the owner, gave him the cutest haircut! This establishment is truly the definition of a family salon- all of the stylists were so kind and accommodating. From start to finish I couldn't be more pleased as their professionalism, cleanliness and pricing cannot be beat. Thank you again ladies, we will most definitely be back again soon!
What a great place to get a haircut! My stylist was Deena who was very pleasant and welcoming! Deena engaged me in good conversation during my visit and cut my hair exactly as directed and constantly checked with me to see if I was satisfied ! What a good ambassador for this salon! I left with a great cut and received excellent customer service ! A perfect way to start the work week ! Thanks Deena! I will be back !!
Deena is a master at balayage! I've been coming to her for years and wouldn't recommend anyone else. Their prices beat all the overly expensive salons in the area and it's not lost on quality! The salon is clean and inviting as well!
Wish I could give them 0/5. Patty cut my hair for 5 minutes max and blow dried for 20 mins. I asked her a couple times to fix the extremely choppy layers and after the second time she said it looked good and took the cape off so that she didn't have to cut it anymore. I will never return and do not recommend. It wasn't even cheap since they charge extra for long/thick hair. Waste of time and money.
