Lee Spa Nails in Raleigh, NC

I've been using Lee spa nails for years. I love Thao (Tammy). She keeps me updated and always tries to make me happy.

Love this salon!!!  Best in Raleigh. The Lee's Spa pedicure is my favorite.  They will take great care of you.

decided to go here & I wish I didn't. I called & asked for a fill in & cut down. when I got there, I immediately felt uncomfortable being the only black person. after them eyeing what I already had on, asking me where did I go to get my previous set, etc WHILE STILL STANDING AT THE DOOR, i finally sat and waited 10 min for who I thought was a nice lady up until she started manhandling my hands. even her coworkers were glancing over like " u aight? " ..... anyway, she goes into saying if i wanted the same color with it being acrylic that it wouldn't be spot on. y'all this lady barely even tried to find nude that matched what I had. basically tried to put a bubblegum pink on top of nude thinking I was going to be okay with that. absolutely NOT. so I told her just do an acrylic fill in & I'll just get it painted with gel polish. I guess she was mad about that ( less $$$ ) bc she got more intense with the manhandling I had to tell her to calm down. smh!! I just wanted a nice relaxing experience like the other white ladies were having. I seen a previous post about them being racist and I BELIEVE it!!! hell at least she had enough respect to whisper and talk her sh!t in her language, cause baby my translator app was on GO for u Tiffany :) won't be back. might as well get a sign saying " yt's only " .

I was generous giving these racist people a one star.   I am not a person to toss around the race card but my husband and I were clearly treated  differently than a white couple in the salon. We were the only other patrons other than that couple.

I won't go into all of the events  but I will share that we were not acknowledged for several minutes until I asked if they were still serving customers...the response was, " pick a color". The last straw(although there were other things) I selected a pink polish for my nails.  The tech working on me told me that I was too dark for the polish to show up on me.  I looked at her like she lost her mind. I said, "you do realize these are nails".  The funny thing is I am a caramel brown.

I will never go back...they are less than the poor two star rating they fully earned.

Tried to give them the benefit of the doubt even though they have bad reviews but I had a terrible experience with my SNS manicure. Very low quality and low attention to detail, messed up multiple times and Brenda tried to cover it up. Will not be returning.
