Lavish Salon and Spa in Prattville, AL

I thought my 6 y/o son would be difficult with his hair cut because he's autistic & has never had his hair cut by anyone but his grandma but Courtney was so patient & sweet. She did such a great job & my son was comfortable with her. Austin cut my 14 y/o sons hair & it came out very handsome also. Prices were very reasonable too. Everyone in there seemed very nice. We will be going back.

So unfortunately I didn't have the best experience here. I made an appointment for my first ever facial as a treat to myself. My appointment was at 3, I got to the salon at 2:55 and was greeted by the receptionist laying on the couch playing on her phone, she told me the girl doing my facial would be out in a minute. I sat there for about 20-25 minutes while I hear my aesthetician gossiping with another girl (or customer) in the back. Around 3:25 she finally comes out and grabs me to go back and have my facial done. I get undressed and put on the robe and lay down. She comes back in the room and tells me that she's running behind and hasn't set any of her stuff up so to give her a few minutes to set up, at this point I really wasn't that bothered because I was still so excited and hopeful for the facial. Another 10-15 minutes go by as she's setting up her stuff and she finally gets started on me. I paid $70 for the custom blend facial which on the website states is "Invigorating cleansing, exfoliation and skin sedation. A custom blended aroma therapeutic facial with light neck and shoulder massage, plus a power treatment and mask targeted to your concerns." It also said it was an hour long. So by the time she got started around 3:40 I figured I would be there until 4:40 getting my facial done. All she did was rub the products on my face and put a skincare mask on me and wiped it off and I was done at 3:07. No neck and shoulder massage, nothing that I was expecting and I was only in there for about 35 minutes. The whole time she was doing my facial she was sniffling like she had a runny nose. My whole experience was extremely disappointing and for my first facial ever it really bummed me out. I feel like I was ripped off because I paid for the facial and tipped because I'm not the type of person who won't tip regardless of the quality of service. The girl was very young (her name was Bailey Cook) and I didn't feel comfortable confronting her about my experience because by the time I was checking out they were rushing like they were trying to get out of there even though they had hours until they closed. I wish I could have my money back or be reimbursed with a different service or something because I felt like I was completely scammed. The whole situation was extremely disappointing and I won't be recommending any one to go there.
