Laure was great at this location but she has left (along with most of the best technicians, I assume they get paid less with Lasheville) and who is left there is Cathi who apparently runs the place. The location is hard to find and hard to get ahold of anyone. Cathi was sarcastic and rude when I arrived and seemed to be more concerned with appearing 'cool' than caring for a client. Had to wait as well. I regret my appointment with her, and my money spent. Maybe I don't appear important enough for her to address kindly. Great.
Their machine that takes payment also was not 'working' and I've had several issues with "Cathi" regarding this. She even accused me of trying to scam her! She sounds paranoid like she is the one scamming. I assume something like that is going on. I would do anything to get back my time arguing with "Kathy".
Trust me; try another place like Molly Lane Aesthetics or with Laure in the shared space with Bronzed Asheville (Super nice ladies there)
Do yourself a favor and prevent a bad experience and potential accusation of not trying to pay.
I was more than happy with Laure at all times. I had a problem with Cathi however. This place is beyond hard to find. I called and she did not answer the phone to help me. Apologized later. She said they were having problems with their computer system. Then I pulled over so I could text. I did hear back then. I was told that she just did not know how to explain to me how to find the business -- really? -- the owner doesn't know where her own business is? -- after I asked if it was near Biltmore Estates. She told me she would let Laure know that I was running late and that I was having a difficult time finding the place. Later she wrote to me in a text that she was unable to reach Laure and she "must be in with a client" -- which I highly doubt since Laure is unbelievably professional and always on time and I was late. Laure told me when I came in that she had not been with a client but waiting for me but that it was all right, she did not mind. She knew the place was difficult to find. I definitely gave her a good tip. I see that all of Laure's reviews on here by verified clients were all 5 stars and her clients were all very happy with her. The only bad reviews were in response to good reviews by clients here Cathi apparently was unhappy that Laure had gotten good reviews by her clients -- and these bad reviews are by the actual owner of the company. Weird. As an owner, any problems with people she chose to hire to see "me" show a problem with her, not Laure, so that is strange. Laure has always been very professional with me and extremely pleasant and nice and my lashes have looked gorgeous. The last time I was there (choosing to find a place closer to me that I can actually find at a business where they know where they are located and actually answer the phone listed on their website), I overheard a conversation between Cathi and another client who told Cathi that she should be careful or she might lose the people working for her because the person did not think Cathi was treating her contractors right and said "that is just not the way to keep people working for you -- or at least not to have people working for you who are happy for the long run. You really cannot talk to them that way." Wow!
Cathi, the owner of Lasheville continues to email and harass me which has made this experience so much worse. She describes it as trying to "chase" me down which I feel is accurate. I do feel chased and I'm definitely running in the other direction. What was supposed to be a nice pampering experience turned into a botched job and then dealing with an off the rails owner who is still wondering why I wouldn't have wanted to come back in to see her.
I went to Lasheville because I wanted to treat myself after a tough month, and besides, I'm so lazy about makeup that eyelash extensions are my way of looking like I put some effort into my appearance. I couldn't have been happier with the experience. My lash tech, Laure, did an amazing job, plus she was great about chatting when I was feeling chatty and letting me snooze away when I wanted to relax. The shop has a wonderful family-feel and there's plenty of parking--a huge plus. All in all, I couldn't be happier with the experience! Thanks, Laure!
Very disappointing experience - I won't go back.
The owner rescheduled my appointment without asking. When I let her know that I wasn't available for the rescheduled time because of an important meeting, she told me that she would change back to my original appointment time. When I arrived at the scheduled time, the technician wasn't ready and I was told to wait 20 minutes after the time I was scheduled. This meant that my appointment was cut short. The technician didn't clean the room at all between the appointments.
I had scheduled my appointment well in advance and only found out that the owner rescheduled my appointment an hour beforehand via an automated email.
Not a safe or sanitary environment. The previous client was not wearing mask in the very small space. The room was not sanitized before my appointment.
