L Spa in Muskego, WI

I went to L Spa because I had a gift certificate and chose to get a massage. If I was just rating my massage therapist I would give 5+ stars. However, I am rating this business as well. My massage therapist was Lori and she was fantastic! I've had massages by her before and always leave feeling fantastic. By far the best massage I've gotten was by her! The business itself was not as delightful and I was a little disappointed. The building seems very old and the massage room was what I would imagine was the living room of the house. It was a nice big room but just seemed like it could use some updates to get more of a spa like feel. You could hear chatter outside the room since the walls were thin which made it hard to relax at times. When I arrived I was not greeted by any of the staff nor asked why I was there. I was unsure if I had to check in or not so I just went up to the counter and explained why I was there. Upon checkout I also was not sure what to do. My massage therapist walked me up to the counter and we parted ways but the two girls at the checkout counter didn't say a thing to me until I said I'm here to checkout. They struggled to get the system to checkout to take my card and it was not a smooth process, but I understand there are glitches; it would have been nice to be told what was going on during the issue. I wish the rest of the staff was a little more pleasant and welcoming because that would have made the experience as a whole night and day better. I would recommend getting a massage by Lori.

I dyed my hair with a boxed color, which turned my hair an orange/red, and came in to get the color corrected. The stylist, Lexi, used a demi color that washed out of my hair. I called back several times with questions and concerns. Stylist and manager defended the use of demi color, never offered to fix the problem (even though I was clearly unhappy), and instead offered me a discount rate to come in and get my hair colored AGAIN! I pretty much wasted $100. My hair was still red! I spoke with stylists at other salons who said permanent color would fix and/or cover my red hair. But apparently at L Spa, making money off a client (i.e. taking advantage of them) is more important than making a client happy.

Dana is awesome. She is so sweet and friendly. Does a great manicure and pedicure, and quickly. I love L Spa!

I went awhile back maybe a year ago. I had a gift certificate I got a pedicure. I choose a white polish unfortunately they couldn't get it to corporate. They weren't even dry when I left which led to nothing but problems.

Loved my experience at L Spa! My hair is super thick and wavy and Lexi took care of it like a pro. She gave me good suggestions when I didn't know what to do and I'm still loving it a week later. Thumbs up, definitely would recommend :)
