Excellent salon. During my travels, I had the best color appointment at L'eau de Vie. Very talented and friendly team!
My daughter was scheduled for a 12:30 appt. Salon called at 12:10 to reschedule to 1p. No apology. No problem however, quick lunch at nearby Hillman for a consistently good grilled cheese. Arrived at salon at 12:58, checked in, easy enough. Waited for an extra 17 minutes with no acknowledgement. Ultimately decided that the salon has forgotten the value of its customers' time.
Business lost.
Quite a shame as it used to be a quality salon and great place to buy Aveda products.
New location is more convenient which is a plus. However the new lobby is tiny and the chairs are not comfortable enough for delayed appointments.
I am a long time client. Crystal is very professional and capable as an esthetician. You can't go wrong with her expertise. However, recently the salon changed wax brands to something inferior. Also they no longer give out the aftercare sample, instead charging an additional price for the product without informing me at the time of appointment. That doesn't sit well with me. It was a valuable courtesy in the past where 5 stars was the standard.
I was from out of town attending a fancy wedding at the Biltmore Estates as a guest. Nicole was awesome and made me feel special! I showed her a sample idea and she took it from there. I was very happy with the service, quality, care and most important the half updo style I left with that afternoon!
