A regular manicure typically involves nail shaping, cuticle care, and the application of nail polish, which can last up to a week. A gel manicure involves similar steps but uses a gel-based polish and UV light to cure the polish, resulting in a more durable finish that can last up to two weeks without chipping.
The prices for different nail services at L a Nails can be found on their official website, in-salon brochures, or by contacting the salon directly.

tech started at 4:50pm and ended at 6:22pm. you would think after an hour and a half my nails would look presentable, right? wrong...all of them are crooked, they have bubbles inside the color, and the lady over worked my right thumb which caused my skin to bleed. every nail is a different shape. i asked for a little filed on the side, not quiet like coffin....i don't even know what to call these. it's been 3 days and i am going somewhere else to get these ugly nails removed. it's so embarrassing walking around in these
I love this place Tao is really good and she can do any design. Just ask but overall this is my favorite nail place.
WORST experience ever! I hadn't been to LA nails in a while and never will be returning. I was there for a full set and pedi. My pedi was excellent. Get to the full set and I've never felt so unwelcomed in my life. I was in seat 10 with a gentleman that did not want to do my first design. It was a simple design of flames on the nail. He replies "WE don't do that here, we can only do one color for the outline of the flames." the design was literally something I could take the paint and do on my own nail... but I just suggested a simple design with a line going through the nail instead. He agrees to do that. I simply ask for the total and he says "I won't know until I shape the nail and see the length you want." I simply asked for medium length in square and just to know the price with the design prior so I could decide on getting it. He proceeds to go back and forth with me saying "I told you already I cant tell you the price." He is very loud with his tone and aggressive. He continues to just file and apply the nail and then adds $15 for the design. He asks me what do I want to do and offers to not serve me. By this point I am extremely irritated by his rudeness but agree to the price of $119 that he gives me as my total For pedi and nails. I literally only stay because I am a lash technician and would not have time to schedule another appt elsewhere before I had appts of my own. From start to finish he was extremely rude with no hospitality; even down to how he asked me to wash my hands was rude. He continues to talk to me as if I am remedial during the appointment. After shaping my nail he is so urgent about getting money and says "ok you can get up and pay me now." Before I even see if I like the color, design or anything. I said I would feel comfortable to pay once I see the color and if the design looks correct. He sits there as if I'm not going to get my nails done until I get up and go to the atm. I am steaming at this point and get up to take money out and hand it to him. I would NEVER ask a client to pay until they are satisfied with the end result for any service.
If you are not going to present a welcoming experience and make customers feel comfortable this profession is way out of his league. He even had to get another tech to come in to do the simple lines on my nails. A toddler could have made the lines. It is clear he has no patience and maybe should stick to doing pedicures only. Something way more basic than nails because he gives the energy that he does not want to do anything except basic filing and painting nails. A Nail salons main focus should be art and trying to make the customer happy even if you can't do a certain design that is fine but it is all about how you speak to people. He even went as far to try to convince me to just get a plain color. if I'm spending $100 plus of my hard earned dollars don't try to convince me to get anything other than what I ask because you are too lazy to go outside of your comfort zone. I ALMOST walked out without paying at all that is how bad the treatment was I left furious and didn't tip a soul. He didn't even take the time to lotion or oil my hands before taking the next customer.
Please do better or have a tech that specializes in designs, that design was entry level and if someone there has such a hard time doing that they need to maybe handle the money and not even have a chair in the first place. I handled myself classy and was very respectful. I'm sure he has rubbed many people the wrong way and has caused LA nails to lose a lot of money. I will not be returning and this reminded me to just go to a private tech. salons have really lost their passion and enjoyment seems like they just want your money and don't care as long as they can get you in and out While overcharging for the basics. I was extremely disappointed and had friends on FaceTime that also witnessed his rude behavior and could not believe I even stayed through the appt. Do Better. didn't even deserve one star to be honest.
I have a gif certificate here that my husband (world's greatest) got
me for Christmas. I had an appointment at 1:15 I arrived at 1:20 and waited 30 minutes. This is not the first time. They're nice people but I hate going there-- there's always an issue. Last time my Christmas gift comes from here, but I'll try to get services from them next week, and I'll try to use it up. Where will I EVER find someone to my nails once this gift certificate is used up????
This is my 1st and last time coming first the guy who is here is rude and not friendly at all he was so busy looking at his phone to answer any question. Than the lady ask what was i getting I said a pedicure she said with or without gel I said with Gel do u have gel on your toes now i said yes. I ask how long is the wait she said we take you now so I sit down and 10 mins later someone comes to get me. I said I wanted the spa she said it's $58 and $6 to take gel off to do pedicure now that's different i said she says well everyone charges i said not in Maryland where i drive too i only came because my nail is broke so imma get it all done.
