KV Nails in Parkville, MD

Was looking for a nail shop open on Sunday and this was my only nearby option. Went in and asked for the DIP because my natural nails are very long / strong and I didn't want acrylic to damage them. I specifically stated I DO NOT want acrylic I want something to lay over my natural nails that's stronger than a regular gel manicure. The man told me to have a seat and he started filing my nails with the drill . He then reached for the fake tips to start gluing. I said oh no I don't want fake nails I want the dip. He said he was going to use the tips on only my thumb and pointer finger so they would be even. I said that's fine as I assumed since he is the nail tech he knows what he's doing and that must be the process for dip? I had never gotten the dip prior just heard of it. He proceeds to glue tips on all my nails . I said I thought you were just going to put tips of 2 of my fingers and he just nodded and continued then reached for the acrylic when I said I DO NOT WANT ACRYLIC I WANT THE DIP. He said " this is the dip it's the same thing " when clearly it was the acrylic powder. At this point I was tired of repeating myself and didn't want to go through having to have the tips ripped off I just wanted my nails done as quickly as possible as I was already irritated. I understand there's a language barrier but cmon I know they u derstood what I was asking for . I feel that they completely ignored my request and they maybe did not have the dip available but if so they should have said that!! Can't stand nail shops who tell you anything to get you in the chair so they can make their $. The nails came out alright there are some imperfections and he also was about to use a dirty cuticle cutter on me the package he took it out of was not sealed . I paid $55 so I guess prices are decent however I won't be returning

Cheap and shows in the work . Very cluttered and seems unsanitary. Very unlikely to return

Love it here! The family is friendly and courteous. They are always able to do whatever design I ask for. This is the only place I go! And they have upgraded their salon as well and I love the new look.

This business is terrible. I made an appointment a day in advance got there and the nail tech wanted to tell me that she couldn't do my nails due to another client. She rudely kept interrupting me. She then calls her boss who tells me to he had an emergency at his daughter school. Which is fine but nobody called me to tell me about my appointment. He told me to wait until 10am for a discount.. 50% off. His nail tech now becomes available ... because her appointment was with ME. terrible customer service, owner did not hold up to discount and I left. Will never spend another dime in this place.

By far the worst nail salon I have ever been to. The lady put my nails on so far on the tip that they had nothing to hold onto I broke four nails within the first week I was on vacation in Connecticut so I called them when I got back to tell them and they said it's already been a week nothing that they can do for me now. I should've came in as soon as it happened I can come in and have them fix my nails now but I have to pay. How can I come in when I'm literally in another state. I had to keep gluing my nails back on while on vacation so that I didn't walk around with four broken nails. Not to mention my daughter and I both got nails and toes done and it was $265. So when I called the lady tells me I need to learn how to take care of my nails I've always worn long nails and I never break my nails I was literally picking up my phone and the nail popped off I was moving a bedsheet another one popped off putting my sock on another one popped off absolutely ridiculous ad for them not to want to help after I spent that kind of money in there I'll never go back.
