Kool Nails in Hampton, VA

I went to this nail salon to get a nail repair my usual Nail Tech was not available so I come here to get a, nail repair. This is not my first time doing that. I do have long nails for reference the first time I went for a nail repair they only charge me like $13 to fix my nail and it was really long I visited this location yesterday, 25 March 2024 to get one nail repaired. This lady charged me $40 I didn't have diamonds or anything spectacular on my nail. I asked her for the breakdown of why it was so much and she refused to give it to me. These people are complete rip off. I would not come here if I was you they target people such as myself that has fancy nails and overcharge them remind you I have been there before for repair and they only charge me $13

This was the worst pedicure EVER! all I got was a pedicure with gel French tip and the receptionist lady tried to charge me $75 when I been coming in paying only $50-55. I asked when did the price go up because I just came in there 2 weeks ago to get my nails done which was a fill in with gel and nail art and that was $75. she replied " A week before new years it went up $20 which is insane and my pedicure was terrible the process wasn't done right nor was the French tip. The man offered to do it over and he did (only the polish) so when I asked for the price list he gave it to me and it say spa pedicure with gel $55. I asked him he said it was $65 the lady is stealing money and coming up with her own prices and it's not the first time I have seen Sherry do this! I will never spend another dime here and it will be reported. No refund was given. The name of the receptionist may be incorrect spelling.

Neat, clean, & very nice salon, however they do not post prices, and there was a language barrier with my nail tech, & she did not understand what I asked for. basically did what she wanted, & charge was $50 for basically gel polish without mani. I felt that was very high for my service. In closing, my gel polish chipped within 24 hours, & has continued to peel and I'm not even 1 week out from my service. I will not return.

The owner has been doing my nails for 20+ years; and in those 20+ years, I can honestly say that I have never had one bad visit... Nor have I ever been disappointed. But I know that if I had ever been, the Owner will do whatever she can to fix it. The Owner not only cares about nails but also her customer's overall health & happiness. I will never go anywhere else.

I'm curious as to why there are no prices posted. There used to be. They need to put up a price menu othwise it seems like they are making up prices as they go.
