Kevins is a friendly, welcoming, worthy your money salon. Every time I have gotten my nails done at Kevins it has been a great service. Quality nails at a fair price. They take their time, are detail oriented, and attentive to the quality of service. Recently they got new pedicure chairs which are very nice and clean. Kevins upholds a standard by investing in their services and quality of products. Kevins is a front runner in the salon industry in Bloomington. The service is unmatched.
Horrible experience with my manicure. I wish I knew the ladies name. She asked me 10 times if I wanted gel polish after I told her no. She used the dremel on my nails for way too long to remove my previous gel polish. She insisted I had dip nails and I told her I didn't. I know what dip is. She wouldn't believe me. She cut my cuticles with that tool as she ground forever and made me bleed after I told her she was hurting me and the tool got super hot. She made my nails so thin and flimsy. When she got done shaping my nails I had to file them myself to make them look good because she left them crooked and with chunks hanging. At the end when I sat to dry my nails she yelled, I told you to get gel! Most uncomfortable worse experience and ruined my nails.
First time at Kevin Nails this morning. Did have to wait a little but didn't mind because I was a walk in. Still fast service. Got a French tip dip manicure by Hellen. She did amazing! Clean, precise, nice.
My sister and I went to get manicures for her birthday, and I ended up paying $90 for the both of us and both her and I were disappointed in the result. I got gel that was see through and done poorly, and she got French acrylic that took an hour and a half because he was on the phone the whole time. I wanted to love it, but I will not be coming back.
They take walk ins and we're super friendly, also did a full set of acrylic nails in a timely matter and they are amazing quality!!
