JennPaintt Nail Lounge in Los Angeles, CA

First time getting a pedicure at JennPaintt Nail Lounge and it did not disappoint. I was able to make appointments online and even communicate with the front desk via text, so it was extremely convenient for any changes. I got the signature pedicure $55 and added gel polish $15. I got a complimentary can of La Croix at the beginning and was provided a warm neck pillow. All the scrub, masque, and lotion used during the session came in single one-time use packets. The 10-minute foot massage was also properly tracked with a timer. My nail technician's name is Ken and he did a wonderful job from start to finish. It's been 1.5 weeks since my visit and my toes still look so good!

My sister booked our girls' day appointment weeks in advance. We had a party of six and our appointment was on a Saturday at 3:00pm. We initially booked VIP service but then changed our minds. My sister called them to change our service to Signature pedicures. When we arrived at the nail salon 20 minutes early, it was clear that they were busy and they told us so. They took three of our parties and got them started after we checked in. The other three sat waiting for an available chair. Two people arrived at the salon after us, and somehow, they were serviced before us. When asked, the receptionist told us that they had a 3:00pm appointment as well and that the system had overbooked for that time slot. This is not our problem, and no one said anything about the system error when my sister called in to change our services. Our problem was that two people were taken in when we had arrived before them. If a time slot is overbooked then you prioritize by arrival. The next issue is the service itself. Not worth the cost of the Signature. It was rushed, and on top of that, the nail polish on our pedicures chipped within a few days. I do my own pedicures at home quite often, and my nail polish at home lasts longer than that. Overall, it was not a good experience, and the quality of the nail polish is not great. I do NOT recommend this nail salon.

I'm not sure how I feel about this place anymore, I've been a few times I get the same set and even recommended friends and family but I just left a few minutes ago & I can't say I'm happy with my nail set. I mentioned it to the nail tech 2 times the gel x was messy underneath the nail (see photos) she did try to file it down both times but once gel is hard there isn't much you can do. It may not be a big deal to other people but to me it look sloppy to pay the price I'm paying & not discount was offered. The other thing I didn't like is, while I understand card readers go down in business; the receptionist said you can pay with apply pay I asked how & who to Apple Pay she said no I didn't say that but I clearly heard her say I could. Maybe it was a misunderstanding but I know what I heard and I felt like she was pushing me use cash. In the end, the card reader did work ...it took my card just fine.

don't be fooled by the ambience, the service and my french tip signature pedicure was nothing special. went here for a girls day with my family, we are a group of 6 and made appts at 3pm on a saturday way prior. when we arrived, they were busy so they took 3 of us at first while the other 3 waited, which was not a problem. however, another woman came after us, and when a chair became available, they took her. we complained and told them we had appts at 3pm and we were told that the woman they took ahead of us also had an appt at 3pm. however, you would think they would've prioritized our appts because we had BEEN waiting and this woman had barely gotten there. she then told us that their appt booking system was over booking ppl but thats not our fault? if that was the case, they should have been proactive in communicating that when the appointments were made, or even when we first arrived. additionally, if multiple people had the same appointment time, you would think they would then take people by who was there first. on top of this, i got the signature pedicure and it was not worth it. not sure if their service is always like this or if they were rushing due to it being crowded but my service was so fast and my french tip pedicure looks inconsistent and already chipped the next morning. i would not recommend this place. you can find better service elsewhere.

To start, the receptionist was so helpful and respectful she asked what I wanted to do and I asked for a color change. The technician has just finished the previous customer and told me to choose a color. A minute later he came back to ask if I was done choosing, but I wasn't and I got to stressed which did not help the situation. And ai ended up choosing a color I didn't even like and rushed back to the chair. The technician (wearing glasses) was not friendly at all, he was really upset that I took a total of 3 minutes deciding the color I wanted. He did an "ok" job it was rushed and definitely not worth my $40. The reason I'm not coming back to this establishment is, when I went to pay using my credit card I was choosing the tip amount and signing when one of the female workers (short light brown blondish hair) shoved her face between the screen and I to see how much I tipped to yell the amount to the technician!!! Very unprofessional and the workers really have to respect to anyone. Low class behavior
