Jcpenny salon has been around for years and the hairstylists are some of the best. Kind, courteous, patient and understanding talented individuals.
I've been having my hair done at the Salon for many years. The staff are welcoming and friendly and the stylists are up on current styles and techniques. Highly recommend!
DO NOT RECOMMEND. My daughter got a dying service done. We were told the stylist knew how to do the process. It was clear she did not know how to do it, but worked on my daughter's hair anyway. My daughter was extremely upset with the results. We determined JCPenney Salon was not the place to have it corrected. We wanted a refund to have it corrected elsewhere, was denied, but was offered to have her come it to have it corrected (with a small fee!). I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND you gamble with this salon. You get what you pay for.
I got my hair done here last Saturday. After I went home and saw it under different lights as well as the sun, I realized this isn't what I wanted or what I asked for. I called the salon and spoke with the manager, Laurie. She listened to my concerns and offered me a time to come back and have it corrected at no cost to me. This speaks volumes about their customer service and wanting to keep a relationship with clients. I've had salons ruin my hair and still demand payment (chemical cut - seriously!). Today (Friday) I'm back in to have it corrected and not only do I love it but I'm so appreciative of Laurie (manager) and my stylist (RaSheeda) for helping me. A woman's hair is a presentation of who she is and I can honestly say I will continue to be a client because of how amazing they are to work with. Stay tuned - pics coming soon!
