JCPenney in Port Charlotte, FL

Terrible customer service. The store is NOT understaffed, like most others at this time. Several employees were doing nothing at the check out, while my bf and I waited in line when no-one was in front of us. The cashier rudely told us to go to where the 'line' starts, even though noone was in line. The next person who turned on a register had a group cut us in line and they promptly checked them out. We were pretty upset...

There is nothing wrong with the store itself, but I could not believe the RUDENESS of the cashier!!!! I mean, really, this is not acceptable if you want to keep your customers!!! She had no name tag but on my receipt it has assoc: 0683, perhaps Management might have a talk with her.

I have spent quite a bit of time in this store over the last week while doing my school clothes shopping. The layout of this store makes it easy to find what you were looking for quickly. I spent the majority of my time in the children's section which was neatly organized. I really liked that they have the children's shoes in the children's department so that you do not have to search through tons of shoes to find the kids section. I found the prices to be extremely low in comparison to other Department stores and the coupon offers were great, but the selection of boys clothes was very limited. My only complaint with this store is the checkout process. They have very few registers and even fewer cashiers so you have to search for them and the line is usually quite long. If you need assistance with anything in the store it is usually difficult to find a salesperson on the floor.
