After 7 years my previous hair salon has gone out of business and I was looking for a good salon close to home. I found it! JR Hair Salon is wonderful! Under Deb's care my hair color is amazing and the cut is just incredible. I have difficult hair due to a lot of cowlicks that have a mind of their own. Deb figured it out and worked WITH the cowlicks and the style is just perfect. I have had numerous compliments in the past week about the color and the cut. I have found my salon home now and will be visiting Deb often! Thank you, Deb and JR Salon!

I switched hair stylists, and am so happy now! My old stylist stated selling a line of cosmetics and hair care that was expensive (Arbonne) and I wasn't interested in buying it. She was putting a lot of pressure on me about this, and although, my hair is suffering from the effects of an overactive thyroid, I felt it was a conflict of interest. Especially because all the product in the world is not really going to fix hair that has been breaking due to a thyroid issue. I did indicate several times I had no interest in the products, then I bought one hoping she would give it a rest, but it had the opposite effect. This place is a bit further away from my part-time residence, but Cathy has been very nice to me, even though she knows my hair is not on the best shape. She is also A LOT less expensive than my old place, and she isn't pushy about hair products either. I find it much more relaxing to go to someone so nice and low-key. She said, "In this business, you pretty much have to give the customers what they want." I believe this to be true in any business, but it was nice to hear someone take a customer friendly attitude. Especially, because, like most people, sometimes I have gotten a cut that was not what I was expecting. She really seems knowledgeable. It's also a smaller shop and I rather prefer that to a giant salon. If you are near this area I would recommend giving this place a try. It is sort of hard to find as the strip mall iis set back from the road, but after you find it, it's worth it. :)

Love love love Brittany!!! She knows EXACTLY what I want even if I can't describe it! She has been doing my hair for several years now and I can't find anyone better. She is excellent at color as well as cuts and knows just what style will work with you. She has great color sense and really knows what she is doing. I just recently heard she has left JR Hair...I would still recommend this salon as the rest of the stylists are nice and I have never had an issue with just walking in for a cut either.

My favorite salon! My sister recommended This salon and I am so happy she did. I go in to see Brittany and I just love her. As far as haircuts go, I always leave very satisfied. She will do exactly what you ask for, or if you're like me and don't always know exactly what you want, she makes great suggestions and knows how to make you look your best! I also just had Brittany do my hair for a wedding I was in. I got so many compliments on it all night! It turned out beautiful! The entire staff is very friendly and professional and The salon is clean and inviting. Definitely check them out!
