J. Joseph Salon in Land O' Lakes, FL

Let me start by saying this place is absolutely amazing!! I went in to get a haircut and style and my girl Natalie was so sweet and so talented. She gave me tips and inspired me to follow through with going to cosmetology school. Great experience and I would 1000% recommend this hair salon! :)

I do NOT recommend this salon or the stylist Emma for color. I just moved to the area so I was looking for a new stylist. I went to J. Joseph Salon in Odessa for color retouch. I get all-over color and my roots had grown out considerably. My roots came out as dark as when I went in there. They look even worse because the color is now reddish-brown. When I got home, my husband said, "I thought that you got your hair done". When I called J. Joseph salon the next day so that they could fix it, I was told that Emma said that I would need highlights to get my color blonder. I have not had highlights for at least 20 years- my previous stylist (Tamara at Red Salon in Fort Myers- great stylist!) had no problem getting my hair blond with all-over color. These people are ARROGANT and INCOMPETENT. Do not waste your money! They are not cheap, either. I wish that I had paid attention to the poor reviews.

5 star recommendations for AnnaLee. I've had more compliments with this hairstyle/cut than any other style. She helped me find my best style to bring out my beauty. Also, she does a great job bringing the braids back in style. :) She's fantastic with coloring especially with the blonding, highlights and Balayage. I've been coming to this salon since it opened and it's maintained their level of quality for stylist and customer service. I like it here when I make an appointment and arrive on time that I'm taken back by hair stylist within the appointment time. Nothing worse than waiting to be seen way past your appointment time. Your greeted at the door with a friendly and welcoming attitude followed by an offer for a drink and they have some nice healthy snacks available. It's the little things! Consistent Hospitality over the years is 5 stars. There's been times where I have been able to get in without an appointment on same day however this salon is pretty busy so I would recommend to setup a time as same day service is more of an exception than expectation. I like that I am getting the opportunity to have a Professional stylist to work with me at reasonable rates. I have gone to other comparable high end salons where the rates are over the top and at this salon I have received the same, if not better outcomes without breaking the budget. They offer a variety of services however I have exclusively used them for my haircuts, styles, braiding and coloring. The scalp wash and massage are included along with nice blow out ending. I love the personal touch and customization that each professional brings to the table. Of course, my favorite hairstylist is AnnaLee (Insta: beauty.by.annalee)

THE BEST HAIRCUT I HAVE EVER HAD!!! Kayla was my stylist and WOW is she good! Her attention to detail and her skill is top notch! I have lived all over the country & just settled down here in Tampa. I went to about 4 other shops with lots of let downs before finding this one and Kayla and my search is finally done! I highly recommend her!

I had such an amazing experience. Paige listened and did everything I asked for precisely. I was very very happy my hair looks amazing!! Five stars.
