Hollywood Nails in Goshen, IN

Very rude person, has no people skills. If he can't communicate with you properly he'll tell you to go somewhere else. Even heard him tell another lady speak English this is America. When his English is very poorly.

literally just went in here to ask how much to get my nails done and the guy for shitty with me and said oh wow if you can't communicate with me. blah blah. so i walked out. if you can't communicate with ME and take time to understand what I'm asking. you don't need to be in business

The first thing you need to know is that this place is a nail or skin infection waiting to happen. They do not practice the sanitation protocols that nail technicians are supposed to (this is unfortunately true of many nail businesses around). Tools such as Dremel tips, nail files or anything with a porous surface should only be used on one client; nonporous surfaces, like metal Dremel tips and cuticle nippers, should be sanitized between clients. They do not do this. The place in not very clean, the stations the techs work at look like they haven't been cleaned well at all. All of this makes it extremely likely that you could end up with a nail infection or fungus, or worse.
The next thing you should know is that they don't treat your nails and fingers gently. I repeatedly told the tech the Dremel was making my nail hurt because it was going too fast and making it hurt. More than once she stabbed me underneath the nail; one time it was so bad I screamed and jerked my hand away. It turned out I had bled a bit and it was sore for days. I know, I should have gotten up and left, but we were only halfway done and by that point I just wanted to get them finished. I will never go back. They may be less expensive than regular hair and nail salons that practice proper health and sanitation standards, but it's not worth risking your nails and your health. Fortunately I have found a place that does, with a nail tech I really like. She's very gentle, yet works quickly and accurately. She does a beautiful job. I'll pay more to go somewhere that does it right. I guarantee you, Hollywood Nails is NOT that place. Run from here fast as you can!

HORRIBLE experience.  All the yelling, cursing and the owner is super rude and obnoxious.  Unfortunate because the people (kids and family) do a great job on the nails, but they are afraid to speak because of him - his daughter did my nails and told me they dont talk because he yells at them!  Not so sure i would return if they PAID ME!  He was sexisit, told some guy getting a peddicure he was a "pussy"

Best nail salon and good natured people who own it! My daughter and I live in Osceola, a good 30 mins from it but definitely worth the drive.
