Guadalajara Beauty Salon in Bellflower, CA

I decided to come here because I was around the area and just needed a haircut. I feel bad but I would not even give this place 1 star. I'm not a hairstylist so I'm not sure how you're supposed to cut hair, but I had never had a hairstylist do what she did. I had let my hair grow out to my waist and wanted a medium length cut. She made a mark with her fingers where she was going to cut my hair and it was around my chest area. I said yes, that's perfect. She asked me if I wanted any layers and I told her just a few on the front so I could style my hair. She did not wet my hair and then took a comb and began to comb my hair from top to bottom which was very painful. Again, I am no hairstylist but every time I have gone to get a haircut they wet everyone's hair especially if your hair is not really straight. She then started chopping chunks of my hair and then had me stand up to finish cutting my hair. It wasn't until I stood up and was facing the mirror directly that I realized she cut my hair so short, it was a little bit past my shoulders. Then she kept pushing my head down with her hand as I was still standing. When I got home, I realized the layers came out chunky and they were all different lengths all around my hair. I thought that maybe I could just wear my hair in a bun until it grows out, but different sections of my hair just come out and don't stay in place. I would take my business elsewhere, I will definitely not be coming back to this place.

Guadalajara Beauty Salon is a great place to call and make an appointment. I always call ahead, and most times, she is available. I've never had to wait a long time, and I recommend this place to anyone . Awesome haircut.

I went to get my roots done and a trim, she died my hair okay but when it came to the trimming of the hair, and I specifically said not too short only the tips, the lady kept asking so many questions on how I want my hair cut, I said once again just the tips not too short. She started cutting my hair in a weird way and cutting and cutting and omg I was so upset to see she had cut almost half of my hair that went down my waist and now is shoulder length very upset I don't recommend this place!

Armando takes his time to perfect every detail on my nephew's hair! My nephew can become uneasy when sitting in the barber chair, but his experience with Armando was different! Thank you!
