Seriously the worst customer service I've ever experienced! It sucks because the salon itself seems great but one of their beauticians, Nina, is going to bring their business down! Don't bother making an appointment with her unless you want an issue. I made an appointment with her before quarantine to get a wig constructed; I dropped the hair off, sent her pictures of everything I wanted done just so there was no confusion. Quarantine hits and I can't get my wig...no big deal, I made another appointment scheduled for today, July 17th, only to have her tell me the color I wanted didn't come out right, 2 hours before my appointment! Ok, you've had my hair since February and it's July, it's been months of quarantine and you didn't figure that out?! To top it off, she says that she went off of the picture and when I tell you it's absolutely NOTHING like the picture, I mean it! The color isn't even similar! Now I understand that color is difficult, but if she didn't wait until the day of to do it, we wouldn't be here! But the icing on the cake, is her poor attitude while discussing with her how to fix the wig; she tells me "before you say you don't like something, why don't you get it installed first"! Does that sound like the correct way to speak to someone that's paying you 200$ for a wig?! I kept my cool, as I always do, because cooler heads always prevail, but looks like I hit a road block with her. She's sticking to her "not my problem" attitude! I, like everyone else, work hard for my money, and now to have been so patient and understanding with her, to have her treat a new customer like this is horrendous. She has a nice following on social media and to be honest, I think it gives her the ego to respond to customers the way she does! Patronize her if you want an experience like I just described, but if you want real service, look elsewhere. My point is to save someone else, who saves to buy a wig, from spending their money with her only to have it wasted!

Went to get a set of acrylics and the lady literally took almost 3 hours to do it, got the sides of my fingers filed off on almost 4 of my fingers to the point of bleeding. Never left a salon in pain before and cleanliness would get a negative 5. I am never going there again. Such a literal painful experience and im disgusted

I visited the Greg Alphonse Salon by a friend's recommendation of stylist Dominique. I have been to many salons and private stylists for most of my life and today's experience was the most successful and stress free of all. This salon is Full SERVICE and they exemplify that. I have a collection of horror stories of the different experiences I've had visiting salons and this experience was so different and it started with their professional phone etiquette and booking system. I called and the receptionist kindly informed me that my stylist was not working for the day, she then explained that she would have her contact me directly to book with her using her online system. She took under 30 minutes to get back to me. I scheduled a 9:30 for this morning and was done before 12:30. Dominique was punctual and very professional. I have thick coily natural hair. The whole experience was seamless! She washed my hair thoroughly and used the correct temperatures throughout this stage. She then advised that we avoid using a hooded dryer for my protein treatment. She did not overuse products on my hair. Less is more here. I was detangled precisely. No pulling. No yanking. My blow out was perfection. No excessive heat and she is skilled with the wire brush ! She assessed my hair and advised on a asymmetrical Bob hair cut to eliminate the broken ends. I trusted her advice and agreed. I was sad to see my length go but happy to start a new hair journey in GROWING HANDS. Dominique is the female Edward "SZA Hands". She is skilled with a pair of shears ! I've been looking for someone who knows how to cut hair professionally for a while now. She took her time cutting. She did not rush the process to start on another client. She respects her clients, their time and investment. I love my layers ! I love the definition of this style ! I've received so many compliments on my new Doo. Dominique does it all. Such a talent here at this salon. I love that she educates you on hair care, consults humbly, discusses the process and is knowledgeable. Finally someone who knows what they're doing behind a chair. The salon is very comfortable and CLEAN. I love the comfortable wash chairs with neck pillows in the sink !!!! They played relaxing yet upbeat music. There were no crowds or rowdy people having conversations in the morning. I can't wait to book another follow up appointment. For the first time, in a long time I'm so happy with my hair. Finding a quality stylist and salon is a challenge but I hope many of you will find that here. They also do nails, eyebrows... you name it !
