Great Clips in Omaha, NE

Easy check in, short wait, quick cut. My 7yo son needed a hair cut desprately and we didn't want to buzz it in the winter so I thought why not head to great clips. It's a pretty simple process and much different than when I was a kid. Find the location you want to go to and check in, and when you arrive you'll be ahead of walk ins.
Overall $17 + tip for a good cut! He did not get a neon velcro wallet like I did when I was kid, but he did get a balloon and a sucker.
They also keep what they did on your profile so you know what to get next time. Great experience here.

Well, it was that time again. Had to get my ears lowered. I typically get decent to good service at Great Clips around Omaha. I usually go to a few different ones....just depends on the wait time or where I am in town.  I been to this one on 108th and Maple area a few times now and they have been very good to me. It's probably my goto when I leave form home to just got get a cut.

Maybe one in ever 7-10 haircuts are iffy. By iffy I mean that my neck line isn't done straight. That annoys the heck out of me.
Today I was up at dawn and waiting to get in 5 mins early at 7:55a. I was first to get in and got serviced right away. The ladies name escapes me but she said she was a manager there. I was very happy with our discussions as she worked and mostly happy with the haircut. All was well. Some people cut and never talk....I like a little talk but not much. I'm weird maybe??
Anyway......the cut was all good and the neck line straight. Even before this specific cut, I'd probably recommended this place and I still do.

I have one lady that does a great job . But they always change their hours because they can't get  help . Door  reads 9 am paper sign reads 11am not worth making several trips will go else where

Good area, nice parking lot, every time I go in they're always so nice and make conversation. Easy to talk to and I find a lot of peace coming here.

It's been 3 weeks and I just can't get over the mess they made of my son's hair. We don't usually get his hair cut here, he's 2 and we usually have his hair cut at a kids salon, but my husband was going to get his hair cut and I figured we'd just see how it went. He only needed a trim (like clean up the sides and maybe 1/4" off the top) When he came home his hair was completely butchered. His birthday is next month and I don't even know if it's going to be long enough by then to go somewhere else and have it fixed. I asked my husband if he had sat still and he told me our son had sat great and held still as she cut his hair. Then I asked if my husband had been vague in what he asked for and he was not. I just can't believe someone that's licenced could do such a horrible job. I've tried to let it go, I keep telling myself 'It's just hair, it will grow back ' but at this point, that could take up to 6 months.
