Great Clips in Lubbock, TX

Visited Lubbock location on Indiana for my son a haircut. They woman cutting his hair didn't listen to our wishes on how we wanted his hair, instead did what she wanted simply because it was done a certain way I. the last when he's been ther. I didn't want what had done in past I wanted a simple fade something cute for school pics instead I got a chopped looking terrible haircut. will never use this location again or great clips for that matter again. I do not recommend telling or exposing what you want done because they are not going to listen and do as they pleas.

Jennifer cut my hair today around 9:20 this morning. Very satisfied with the results. I love when you receive exactly what you ask for. Definitely my go to stylist from now on. She took her time to make sure I liked the results. Thanks Jennifer!

Absolutely a joke out of every salon here in Lubbock 70 min to 90 min wait and 2 people working in 4 of the stores I went to. I will not be back. 10 booths and 2 people working. Ridiculous bs.

Lady with dreads gave me the worst haircut I've ever gotten

The establishment itself is nice, organized, and clean. Was greeted by the hairstylists when I walked in. Came in around 2pm on a Wednesday and no one was there which meant no waiting. My hairstylist seemed shy and like a newbie when trying to log me in. That's fine, technology isn't for everyone. Sat down, she asked how'd I like my haircut done. I Asked for a parallel fade and just a cleanup on the top. Make the fade sides parallel and not rounded to my head as it makes my head look like a melon if it's rounded. She ends up making it rounded and cuts the front as short as the rest making it look like I got a buzz cut. That's fine, I don't expect much from a new hairstylist as I just moved here to Lubbock. I'm Not upset at her since hair grows back. I asked her how long she's been doing hair, she replies with 9 years. Astounded by her long dedication to hair, I ask her if she ever looks into expanding her knowledge into cutting different styles as men's haircuts doesn't seem like her forte. I don't mind getting a bad haircut and she gets experience from it. What I do mind is that she shrugged off my input and seems like she's stagnant on keeping her men's hair cutting methods. Her name is Celeste. This isn't meant to badmouth that hairstylist and that you shouldn't see her. But beware of her style for men and lack in acceptance of criticism. I would've happily come back and see her again to try again. But no thank you. I'll come back and see someone else.
