Great Clips in Dalton, GA

I have had the same haircut for six years. I brought a photo, too, so there would be no doubt when talking to whoever was working there that day. The employee--reluctant to call someone this unskilled a stylist--butchered my hair. When I complained, another employee wanted me to pay a second time to have someone else in the salon fix it. Instead, I went to a real salon (for the same price GC charges) where the stylist said the problem areas were too short to fix and she couldn't figure out what the first person had been trying to do; then she showed me pieces that were cut less than one inch long--five inches shorter than they were supposed to be and too short to style. It will take at least six months for my hair to grow enough for the new stylist to blend the short pieces to the correct haircut. Wish I could give 0 stars.

Went there on Veterans day for a free haircut!! Nice store, fast service, friendly staff!! Thank you!!

Place is full of Gossip between stylist. They get mad when you say something about them messing up your hair but then Great Clips is not a upscale salon they are bargain basement

So... my kid did not have school today. He is 5. Forgot to give allergy meds. He has allergies. We tried to preregister via app. Would not work. Show up in person. We have masks. My kid coughs. They start the COVID questions. No- he does not have a sore throat, no fever, no we have not been around anyone diagnosed with COVID. He has allergies, and we forgot to take the fluconase nasal spray today- school was canceled for high winds... and our am routine was missed. Asked us to go home and take his allergy meds before they would cut. We live 20 min away... so no that is not an option... Went to Walmart. Got MORE allergy meds. Gave to kid. Return to website. Not taking reservations now. Went to Sports Cuts. My kid coughed. He had his mask on. Stylest had her mask. I had my mask on I told her he had allergies. She cut his hair. I think Sports Cuts is worth the extra money to avoid "this"

Went today to get my 3 yr old sons haircut. He is special needs and I always have to sit him in my lap. They told me they couldn't cut his hair if he couldn't sit in the chair by himself. They have lost all of my business. If I could I would have any zero stars .
