Great Clips in Boise, ID

This review for Gulia. I go to great clips because I love the functionality of the app for check in purposes and because I want the same cut every time.  Today I saw that the Eagle McMillan location had a 15 min wait as I was a red light on Fairview.  I checked in drove over to E&M Great Clips location.  I noticed I was number 3 on the wait list and Gulia walked up and said she could take me immediately.  She escorted me over to the chair and we discussed the cut and she got started but where this experience was different was that she was so gentle with everything every step of the way.  The way she put the stretchy thing around my neck, then the PVC wrap, the way she titled my head and how she used the razor.  

I just closed my eyes and I felt extremely pampered.  Normally there's small talk between the stylist and the client. Sometimes I like it and other times I just want to relax.  This time I just wanted to relax and she handled it like a professional.  

My hair looks great, I feel great, and Gulia is great.  I will ask for her the next time I need a trim.

We have used this Great Clips location for at least the last 5 years. Every time my kids get great haircuts.  The staff is friendly.  We have tried other locations and this one by far is the best. Yes there is a wait usually but it is worth it.

Never even made it. The person answering the phone was rude. I called to say I checked in online and that I was calling because even though I'd be there a full 1/2 hr. before they closed I wanted to make sure they wouldn't be closing early (sometimes this happens with service-industry type businesses). She said to "just get here as soon as you can," in a somewhat off-putting way, I thought, but then added that "we want to go home at 8 o'clock." Now, remember, I had already told her I'd be there 30 minutes before closing, so the second comment, especially, was uncalled for, not customer-friendly, and, dare I say, unprofessional. So I canceled my online check-in. "No, thank you."

Melody is wonderful! Great service and very friendly. Double-checks if you like your haircut.

Great haircut by Corey! But there appears to be only two staff members! Last Friday I came in at 7:15pm and the wait was 50min which would be after closing. The two staff members were very polite and made themselves available to everyone that was willing to wait for a haircut. Unfortunately, I didn't have the time that day so I had to leave. Today, again a Friday, same issue. Came in at 7:40 and left at almost 8:30. Great haircut by Corey!! But need extra staff to eliminate the long wait.
