Owner and staff are rude. Overpriced for bad work
Mario is the only person I'll let touch my hair! He is absolutely astounding and I cannot recommend him enough!
First time extensions were great. 2nd time Not. The second time I went for extensions, she only put half the amount extensions in than she was supposed to. When I left it was like my own thick hair bob with just with squiggles coming out of the bottom. Im talking Dr. Seuss. I'm not sure if she was trying to conserve the hair because it's expensive or whatever, or she didn't like me, I mentioned I was another religion? That I lost my job, idk if that makes me a low life? You have to sit there a long time, maybe I said something? Idk Regardless, I mean it's a $500+ service . I realize I should have noticed how bad it was before I left...it's also the professional's job though, to make sure the client leaves looking better than when they walked in, or at least not looking worse. I think I walked in looking better than I came out. When I looked in the mirror at home I asked why I went.
I had to wear a hat to tuck the squiggles of hair into for 2 weeks until she could squeeze me in to fix it (there was zero hiding it aside from a hat). That's a long wait when you've dropped $700 on your hair do that looks bad.
That's after $500 extensions, $40 color, a $60 mystery charge, $100 tip and I had to go back for the other half of the extensions and I still gave the woman $20 tip for correcting her mistakes because even though she owns the place, I try to be nice.
Oh lastly, I had a panic attack leaving and a gentlemen stylist/ owner said audibly to his client "I think she needs a glass of wine" and they both laughed.
Panic attacks aren't fun and they're embarrassing, never mind catching comments from a place I'm dropping my $700 at to try and do something nice for myself bc I'm stressed! Women go to the salon to be pampered. I was thinking I'd be strutting out flipping my hair not looking for hats when I got home.
When you're owners of a beauty business, you took all my $, it's only half done, you're calling it done, even though it's not your fault, I'm visibly upset, the comment was the cherry on top. I just didn't need that at that moment.
My grays weren't even covered up either. Like a few places.I bought a box of dye and my 9 year old touched it up I don't even care. And even the front extensions started coming out after a month, didn't happen first time and I care for my hair the same (carefully) as I have been. The front used to last another month. Maybe I'll drive far for a place that's accredited to doing great ethical extensions and also for appreciating their clients. Maybe I'll get nice clip ins till my hair grows another few inches. Maybe I'll do nothing.
Idk what happened, but it's too bad, I thought I had my new place that made me feel great. If the second time was like the first I'd be hands down booking another appointment rather than writing this and looking to schedule with someone else. I can't help but feel this was personal.
