First time seeing Ellen and she was fabulous! Had a picture but she immediately told me the style wouldn't work with my hair. We came together and did a whole new color cut and style for me. Hair went from colored past the shoulders to a an elegant bob that can be styled to achieve the messier look I liked. Total color change, with many compliments. Was weekend before my birthday and the family loved it.

Saw Ellen for the first time, she did a fantastic job. I will definitely be a returning customer. Can't say enough about how much I love my new cut.

This review is solely based on one hairstylist. I had an appointment with Rose for several weeks after scheduling it, as this was the only time she could fit me in. I was a new client of hers, but knew who she was and she knew who I was, as well. I had the impression that she was professional and a decent hair stylist. Since I was long overdue for my highlights and cut, I was very anxious to get in. But on the DAY of my appointment, she called to say, in her "sickest voice", that she had the flu and couldn't take me that day. She never bothered to call me back later that week, or ever, to see if she could reschedule me. Obviously, she did not want me as a client. Needless to say I went somewhere else.

I was desperate to find a spot for a pedicure. After searching 13 pages of Yelp suggestions, I called here and they were able to fit me in. I have become rather skittish about who I allow to touch my feet after so many horrible experiences. Ann is the nail tech. She is the only nail tech in the salon. There are 2 pedicure chairs and 1 manicure station, very private. She was very patient with me and very gentle. She was constantly checking to make sure that nothing was hurting or uncomfortable. She did not use any of the tools that have caused a whole lot of pain in the past. She opened the package of sterile instruments right in front of me. Now, despite the fact that the Yelp listing says they accept charge cards, I was told I had to pay cash (or check, but I do not carry a check book with me). I never thought to ask the question and I do not see this addressed in any of the other reviews, so heads up on that one. I always use cash for the tip and fortunately I had enough cash with me or I would still be sitting there waiting for someone to come and bail me out.
