Fabulous Eyebrow Threading in Horseheads, NY

Took off way more hair than asked and made both my eyebrows uneven. Is always rude about making appointments and acts like she doesn't have time for all clients until you leave a bad review then she tries to take care of the customer. Don't recommend going to her

Very bad service. I called her on the phone to make sure they were open but I accidentally called three times that all went to voicemail. She called back later accusing me for being inconsiderate and claiming to report my number. Will never go again

This has to be one of the few, and to my knowledge, the only place to have your eyebrows threaded in Ithaca. That being the case, $10 seems like a fair price to charge. The first time I went the business was not open though I arrived during business hours according to Yelp. I had arrived on the Hindu holiday Karva Chauth. You might want to call ahead before you come, though keep in mind she probably has to leave a customer in order to answer the phone. Also, she has a limited range of conversational English, just a heads up. The venue sits across from Victoria's Secret as a standalone booth with one Esthetician, presumably the (co-)owner, attending to all customers. When I arrived I was the fourth customer on line, and had to wait approximaty 30 mintues, which may be fatiguing for some; her partner was kind to offer me their only seat. The Ithaca Mall does not offer free Wifi but my cellular signal was sufficient while I waited. Once seated I did Not feel that service was rushed. After an initial pass the Esthetician spent some time touching up both my brows. She'll hand you a mirror before you leave and you can point to anything you think was overlooked which you might wanted addressed. Cash is the preferred method of payment but I only had my debit card. I input my credit card number, expiration, CRV, and zip into the SquareUp App on her phone myself. There was the option to leave a tip within the app and choice between receiving receipt by text or email (my number automatically appeared once my card information was entered). Shortly thereafter I received a text containing a link to view my receipt. From the receipt you have the further option to rate your service experience. Great service and kind demur, I'll be back.

The worst experience I have ever had for an eyebrow threading. My eyebrows were completely uneven, and one of them had hair taken out in random places that made it look just awful. The person who did my eyebrows responded by saying that she was going to ask for my permission to remove certain hairs but eventually didn't and just did it anyway. I am extremely dissatisfied and do not recommend coming here for any services.

If you want to get your eyebrows threaded in Ithaca, THIS is the place. I used to live in the San Francisco Bay Area, where there are tons of eyebrow threading places. They are usually pretty low key, just a woman and a chair, inexpensive, no appointment necessary, and they do a great job because that is all they do all day long. I've been living in Ithaca for 3 years, and I had just about given up finding such a place. Yes, Ithaca has some fancy waxing places and some people who kind of know how to thread (slowly and painfully). But I always put off going because I hate making appointments for threading - I just like to fit it into my day and drop by. But I (and you) do not need to suffer any longer! Fabulous Eyebrows is just a little kiosk in the middle of the Ithaca Mall, but it is everything you need - a great threader, $10 total, no appointment, just drop by when you're at Target. GREAT brows. And, amazingly, no pain. I always cry when I get threaded but here I felt no pain. Highly recommend!!! And I am leaving a yelp review so others do not have to wait the three years that I did to find a good threader.
