Fab Nails & Spa in Hainesville, IL

I was looking for a place to get a nice relaxing pedicure and Fab nails was the closest. They had good reviews so I went. The older lady was very kind but also super quick. I didn't feel like I received the whole experience. But it was relaxing and I paid her, gave her a very generous tip, and left with my pretty toes. 2 weeks later, I removed the polish to find I now have a fungus under one of my big toes. Also, I have started some sort of itchy rash on my ankle area. I have been to the Dr and they can't figure out what it is but boy oh boy does it itch!!! I will be contacting the nail salon but you know they won't do anything about it. I actually should have been aware when they didn't have any sanitizing bags in the foot tub. I suppose that's my fault for trusting. I haven't been anywhere else this could have happened. Just beware and if you choose to go here? Maybe watch them clean the tub before you use it.

Affordable, fast service, friendly, nice ladies, good work! My nails have been long lasting here. With the type of work I do. That is exactly what I need! Thank You Fab Nails!

I went in to have a pedicure done, and I was super satisfied with the work of "Stephanie" or "mama" (as stated by their sweet staff!). I was given a very thoughtful and thorough service and would definitely recommend requesting Stephanie if you are looking for some real relaxation. I will definitely come by again! Her massages are 10/10!

If I could put half a star I would watched them forget to let pedicure water out then drain it and take a new customer without washing the bowl. *Disgusting* all are rude one girl didn't know I spoke pmong as she degraded all the clients coming in the door. This place is the worse. Unsanitary! Rude! Unprofessional!

Unfortunately I have to give them 1 undeserved star. My mani looked horrible!! I'm new to the neighborhood, so I thought I'd support our local business. (BIG MISTAKE) I'm not a picky customer, but any means, but this place did everything wrong that you could possibly think of. My 1st inclination that this was not going to be a great experience was how rude the nail tech was. Poor skill, very poor language skills, and poor business manner. She seemed pissed off. She was very rough on my feet, used a huge industrial buffer, and actually made me bleed. She was killing me how hard she was digging under my nail with the sharp end of that tool. She cut my cuticles like 3 times. Did she bother to apologize? "NO." Even after the bad pedi, I still gave her a chance to redeem herself by proceeding to have my mani done by her. Big mistake in my part, I should've opted for another nail tech. She seemed very annoyed and was very rough with the cuticle remover. Once again, she cut me and made me bleed. She was in such a hurry that when she was switching the UV led light to the other hand, she took my hand against it, and my hand was burned. I tried to communicate with her to be more gentle but she couldn't understand me because she didn't speak English. When she was done with my mani, I was so annoyed that I just paid and left. Once I got into my car, I noticed the poor job she had done. I had nail polish all over my fingers. She didn't bother to clean up her sloppy work. I had to go back in to have the owner fix it for me. I've had my share of weird nail dives, but this one takes the biscuit. A good place to recommend to your frenemy mortal but at all cost avoid this place.
