Anna is amazing!! I've seen her twice in two months because I wanted major transformations with my hair cut and color each time, and both times over I've left with a sh*t eating grin. Anna helped me transition from mousy brown bob that had grown out and was not at all what I wanted for springtime, to gorgeous blonde highlights with an extreme a line to boot. I was nervous at first and she reassured me that they would look better than any highlights I'd ever see, and she was right. I fell in love. I only chose to change to a blue and aqua transition for the lovely sunny months we occasionally see in Portland. Anna had to bleach out on top of my highlights and while I've had bad bleach experiences in the past, she reassured me, and I swear I'll only see her for hair changes from now on. This salon is more than just a place to get your hair done, there's a boutique up front with cool jewelry and other accessories to look at while you wait (if you even wait), an esthetician upstairs, and a mani pedi spot to boot. The other ladies that work there are so sweet and fun to talk with as the hair transformation happens. I will definately be going back. Thank you Anna!!!!

I had been going to the same girl here for a while and then she moved. I decided to continue going to this salon as it is a convenient location to my house. I called to schedule an appointment for a haircut. They scheduled me with the owner of the salon, Lavonne. She was nice enough and chatty. I didn't have an idea of what I wanted, but needed a shape up and some style. She suggested some layers, I have shoulder length hair. When she was done cutting my hair, she dried it with a diffuser since I have naturally wavy hair, however, I usually dry my hair straight. It was hard to tell what the cut really looked like with it being wavy. I wish she had blown it straight so I could have really seen what it looked like. Then it came time to pay, I was used to paying $60 dollars when I went to the girl who had moved away. The receptionist said my cut would be $80! No one on the phone when I scheduled the appointment mentioned that Lavonne's haircuts are $80. Had I known, I wouldn't have scheduled with her as $80 is outrageous for a cut. I went home and straightened my hair to see what it actually looked like since it was hard to judge wavy, it looks absolutely horrible! It is the WORSE hair cut I have ever had!! The layers are not blended at all and I have really thick hair, she didn't thin it out in areas where it should have been to help the layers lay properly. It just looks really terrible and I am upset that I spent $80 on a cut I hate!! I would not recommend this salon!!!!
