Eros Salon in Cincinnati, OH

I switched to Eros Salon about a year ago when the salon I used to go to jacked up their prices to the point of ridiculousness. I was a little nervous, as most people are when they switch stylists, but Sarah was fantastic. She listens to you, and then lets you know exactly what she's going to do before she begins. She is also realistic with you if you ask for something and she doesn't believe it will work with your hair type. The best part is that it's a one chair salon so you get the place to yourself, which makes it very relaxing. Sarah is a delight to talk to as well. Did I mention my hair looks amazing?! (Almost forgot the most important part). I know another review mentioned her not being able to keep an appointment, but I've never had that issue in the last year, and she's even accommodated me last-minute a few times.

I love coming here, mostly because she listens to what you want. I bring pictures what I like and what I don't like and I have been so pleased with the results. I struggled with finding a salon the first couple of years after moving to Cincinnati, but now I get compliments on my hair all the time and I never had that happen with my previous salon. Unlike one of the notes below I've found Sarah reliable and easy to schedule with, so I'm wondering it that may have been an instance of unfortunate timing. *the address listed may be out of date, I visit her at 3137 Riverside Drive, Cincinnati, OH.

I went to Sarah several months ago; the girl did a great job with my hair. However, I have since attempted to schedule two appointments with her and she has cancelled both. The first one she cancelled maybe an hour before the actual appointment, the next one she cancelled day of. Both appointments were scheduled in advance and based solely off her availability. The girl cannot keep her schedule straight. I'm not the only person this has happened to, I work with a girl who has had scheduling issues with Sarah as well. One time she went for her appointment only to be told in the Salon that she will have to reschedule. Sarah is good at hair but her lack of professionalism or concern is disheartening.

Thanks to Sarah at Eros Salon, I love my hair! And not just as I walk out of the salon feeling like a millions bucks - I am talking nearly 2 months later, as I am making my next appointment with her, I catch a glimpse of my reflection and I think to myself I LOVE MY HAIR! So if you want a haircut you will love for way longer than that hair-honeymoon phase of like 36 hours, schedule an appointment at Eros Salon. Sarah is a wizard with color - mine happens to be a fuchsia pink color, and she keeps me bright as a crayon from one appointment to the next. We discussed what my dream color was, and she figured out a way to make it happen and make it last. Anyone with bright colored hair understands how big of a deal that is. My favorite thing about going to Eros Salon is that Sarah actually listens. Not just to what you want today, but what you want long term. I have been growing my hair out from a pixie, so at first, she only cut it for health and to keep getting that length coming. But once it got to a reasonable level, she cut it for longevity. And like I said, here I am overdue for an appointment and my cut is still FABULOUS. :D There is no one better in Cincinnati!

Sarah is super sweet, and super talented, and I can't think of a better combo for a hair stylist. She is amazing with cutting, styling, and color! I wanted vibrant purple hair and it wasn't an issue at all, she turned my hair into a work of art!! The new salon is super cute and stylish, easy to get to, and right down the street from Eli's so you know what to eat on the way home from getting your hair did!
