The worst experience of my life. I went for a balayage and came out with my hair chopped off because the hair dresser left the bleach on for way too long & just did not know what she was doing. My hair was chewed up. Before that, my hair was down my back!!!!!!!! I was in tears!! Lord, I was furious!! F*** that place. Never again.

**HEADS UP, CASH OR CHECK ONLY** I've been searching for a place that I can feel comfortable waltzing into for a quick eyebrow wax or to change up a hairstyle-- I think I've found it! Ermosa Hair Design is right on Boston Road. I'd seen it before, and it appeared to be a step above most of the beauty salons in the area. The parking lot is pretty tiny (hopefully there's a space for you when you pull up). Next door, you'll find a nail salon, which is great: no need to traipse about town for full-on pampering. Inside, it's spacious, well decorated, hip and modern. Very feminine, as another reviewer mentioned. Lots of seating for those waiting, plenty of hair styling stations and a couple wash stations. The day that I went, there were three stylists, and they were all very busy. I just needed a simply eyebrow wax, and asked if they could fit me in. Although they had their hands full, they told me to come back in 15 minutes. The owner, who did my eyebrow wax, was very polite and did a fantastic job. Usually, my eyebrows end up half missing, but when I told her I wanted to keep them thick, she did just that. Very precise waxing! Today, they look fantastic. Unfortunately, Ermosa does not currently accept debit/credit cards. I'm not sure how they've continued to do business as well as they have, as I'm sure their hair cuts, styling, makeup artistry, and products are not cheap enough to pay with the $20 you have floating around in your purse. I had to go and withdraw cash from an ATM at the laundromat nearby. That being said, I was stoked to find out they only charge $10 for an eyebrow wax. WIN! I will be back to Ermosa regularly for my eyebrow waxing, and perhaps check them out for a cut at some point in the future.

Great place for a precise hair cut, or should I say hair transformation . Because the hour and half I've been here, I've seen just that , transformations ! Big spacious windows that allows lots if natural light. Very feminine, with yellow walks, black and white design and accents of hot pink.
