Elite Salon of Weatherford in Weatherford, TX

I used to go to this salon pre-covid. I recently went back (after two years) and none of the original stylists are there. Ownership has changed hands. The website has not been updated, so the stylists you see are not there. I just wanted a haircut & style. They set me up with a young girl (I don't want to mention her name for her own privacy) but she told me she was 20. I could tell she was not very experienced, but I wanted to give her a chance. She didn't wash or dry my hair. She didn't even use a water bottle to spray it first. She cut it dry. That was new for me! Then when I would ask her her opinion on what cut I should get, etc., she had no opinion. I asked her if she could do highlights and she said "what do you mean?" I said, can you brighten it up a bit. She said she didn't have time today, come back in two days. So I returned two days later and wasn't in the chair 30 seconds when she told me she couldn't do it because I had previously highlighted it before and it might "burn" (?) I just looked at her like "are you serious?" I've never had a problem before! Plus, why didn't she say that two days before when she told me to come back?! She waisted my time and I will not return to that salon.

This is a salon with a rustic feel to it. They did a good job with my wash cut and blow dry. There are not many options in this area.

Michelle Hazelton always does AMAZING on my hair. I've gone to a few different people over the years and it always results in me ending up in Michelle's chair having to get my hair fixed due to everyone else messing it up! Would never use anyone else after my experience with her!

I went to Michelle Hazelton for a cut and color. I'd never seen her before but she did a friends hair, she did a nice job for my friend but completely fried my hair. I spoke with her beforehand and told her I had my color formula & she asked that I send it to her so she could do the same formula on my hair. I'm not sure what she did but she absolutely did not use the formula I provided. I knew she was doing things different but thought she has her technique and it will be fine. She put me under the dryer with some type of bleach or lightener & did so for a very long time. When she came to check on me & she was feeling my hair, it didn't feel right, it felt mushy. When she shampooed it out & put me in front of the mirror I was shocked but kept my cool as I told her that my hair NEVER comes out this blonde! I thought okay she still had to do the toner maybe that will change it. Nope it was still super blonde & brassy. She curled it a little, which no one ever does on my hair so besides it being way to light I wasn't as aware of the damage yet. I washed and dried it the next day and was in tears!! My hair is broken off all over!! I've never had anything like this happen & it's going to take forever to fix because my hair doesn't grow very fast. I have several close friends, out of the area, that are hairdressers and called them to see what I could do. I went to the professional beauty supply and walked out with $100 worth of shampoos, conditioners and masques for my hair. I did text Michelle & let her know about my hair & she said she could put some low lights in my hair ( because she made it too light) & condition it. I declined because I wasn't willing to trust her with my hair again. She was apologetic but didn't really seem to concerned. I'm sick every morning when I get up and see all this broken hair sticking out everywhere like I said she did a nice job on my friends hair and I was happy with the cut she did for me and she's super nice, that's why I'm giving her two stars. I don't know why she asked for my formula if she had no intention of using it!

Just moved here from out of state and was nervous about fnding someone new to cut my hair(im pretty picky). I was quickly put at ease by Amber. She did an amazing job on my hair, listened to me when I told her what I didn't want and even curled it before I left. I've found my new girl! :) thank you Amber!
