I absolutely cannot say enough about Ecstasy Nails. I've been going to this small, family owned business for a year now and haven't been disappointed yet! I love my nails and get sooooo many compliments on them on a regular basis. I'm not one to get too caught up in the fanciness of salons, so I'm not at all bothered by the fact that the set up is quite simple. What I look for is a good job (which they DO), reasonable prices (which they ARE), and I also like the fact that I can walk in when it best suits my schedule and I have never had to wait to get in. All in all, if you are looking for a solid nail spa, I would recommend Ecstasy Nails all day, every day! I love them .:)

Today I went in for something so simple just a pedicure with acrylic on my big toe to square it out and a color change. I had one of my toes already done with the acrylic on so I just needed acrylic on my other toe they already had a reference but they still managed to do it wrong. The guy who did my pedicure put the tip on crooked and filed the sides too much so it looks crooked and odd shaped. It's not hard shaping something into a square, The acrylics were already in a square shape but somehow he messed it up. When it came to the foot massage he only massaged one of my feet as well...This was $56 and I am unhappy I want them to fix it but I don't even want to go back in that shop. I definitely will not be returning. Also the guy was in there doing nails sick and coughing the entire time.

If I could give zero stars I would. Also, I would like to apologize for the long review but it'll be worth reading. I recently just stopped doing all star cheerleading and I wasn't able to have nails while doing it, so after my last competition, I came here to get acrylics. I walked in with high expectations after looking at reviews and I left severely disappointed. I came in already knowing what I wanted (it was fairly simple) and they couldn't even do that! I didn't catch her name, but it was an older lady doing my nails and I was sitting at the first desk when you walk in. So we start and right off the bat she's extremely rough with my nails. As we go on, she glues the nails on crooked. I asked her to fix them and she ignored me. We come to laying the acrylic, it's very uneven and bumpy. I asked her multiple times to fix the things that I didn't like and I was ignored each time. I tried to give her the benefit of the doubt and trust the process because I'm not the nail tech... oh boy did I regret that decision. We finished and I had crooked nails, bumpy and uneven acrylics, and the shaping was terrible. They tried to make me pay $80 for this mess. I brought up how I asked the lady to fix things multiple times and I was ignored and she said "I didn't hear you". How did she not hear me? She was sitting right there in front of me and I was speaking in my normal voice. She also looked up at me then looked back down. I ended up paying then going right to another nail salon called nail spa on Lynnhaven by the Chick-fil-A. There I told them how I didn't want them to take the nails off completely, but to just make them look more decent and presentable because I just spent 80 bucks on trash. Nail spa did an amazing job and I was much happier with the service there. I ended up calling ecstasy nails the next day and asked to speak with an owner and they refused to allow me to speak with him. I asked for a refund or for at least some of my money back and they said according to their policy, they're not allowed to give refunds. I will not be returning to ecstasy nails however nail spa will be my go to place from now on!

It seems the entire staff at this place is gone. Two young men and a lady appear to be working here now. No English from the young men. Have been twice since change over. Not sure if I'm going back.

I hadn't had a manicure or pedicure since last February when COVID struck, and my feet and hands looked like it! My feet were my first priority as they were very dry cracked, and felt like sandpaper. It sounded like static when the cracks of dead skin crossed my comforter. My stepfather, who I know to have some rough feet, recommended this establishment. Although I had a salon that I visited regularly before COVID, I decided to give this place a try. After all, if my stepfather could leave with smooth and healthy looking feet, I knew that I could too...However, in the end, I was not at all satisfied with the job done. I'll start by saying that the techs are all very kind and polite. They also seemed to have a regular customer base as they greeted a few customers by name when they arrived. It was a Sunday afternoon, so they weren't busy and I was able to have my pedicure started right away. All seemed to be going well until the callous removal. From what I I could see, not a whole lot of dead skin was removed; I thought maybe my feet weren't really as bad as I thought. When the tech moved to using the pumice scrub, he ended up scrubbing my leg and that really hurt! He asked if I'd like him to put some oil on it to soothe it; I said yes, but probably shouldn't have. He continued with the pedicure, rubbing the bottom of my feel and nodding to himself with satisfaction of his work. I was asked if I wanted an manicure; I decided I would go ahead since I really needed one. I was helped from the pedicure chair to a manicure station. As I waited for the tech to prep, I felt the bottom of my feet. I thought they felt pretty smooth. With my toes looking good after the polish, I felt good about my feet at that point. For my manicure polish, I requested a clear gel with a glitter hombre to match my toes. They didn't have an exact match, but the tech did his best to help me find something close. I found it weird that before he started, he tried to define hombre for me instead of just saying ok. Once he started working on my hands, I assumed there would be lots of dead skin to removed from around my nail bed, but there really wasn't that much. Before the polish, the tech had only used one of those foam files on my nails...that was not right based on my past experiences, but I didn't say anything. When the tech began to polish, it was clear that he didn't know how to do hombre. Once he started, I repeated that I wanted; he again defined hombre to show he understood and kept working. There was no fading of the polish; it looked more like half clear coat, half mess as you got to the tip of my nails. I asked about having it removed and just getting a clear gel coat (because you can't mess that up, right?), and the tech smirked and made a little huff of frustration (the only negative I can say about his demeanor). He then suggested that he just paint my entire nail with the color he was supposed to have faded in. Irritated, I agreed. When he was done, he asked if I liked it. After hesitation, I said it looked ok, but that it wasn't something I'd usually do (nails polished completely with glitter). He responded, "It's good to try something new!" Instead of being passive, I should have been honest! My nails looked awful. I wish I had taken a pic. It's too late now because after leaving I immediately called my regular "pre-COVID" salon to see if I could get in and have my manicure redone; they could get me in and they did! I should have just gone there first! I won't go into details, but the tech at my regular salon removed an incredible amount of dead skin and cuticle that had just been polished over at Ecstasy. She also couldn't believe that I had just had that my nails done a little over 2 hrs prior; she said it looked like it had been a couple of weeks prior. Despite my lack of satisfaction with my nails, I paid and tipped based on my satisfaction at the moment with my feet, my daughter's feet, and their overall customer service. It's now the next morning; if I could take my tip back, I would! My feet feel like sandpaper still (not as rough, but still) and the dead skin still makes that static sound when rubbed across my comforter. What I'm even more irritated about, however, is that my leg still hurts from being rubbed with the pumice scrub. It's red and still burns. Unlike my stepfather, this place is NOT it for me! He told me he's been a few times and is very pleased with the job done by the same female tech. I saw one female tech working on a man's feet while I was there; she was really going to work on the man's feet, removing a ton of dead skin. I get the feeling that she's the go-to tech for rough male feet. If you're a man with rough feet, this might be a place to consider, but I would never recommend this place to any woman I know.
