Love my lady. la la de da de la di da di da di da di da Ladi da da da da La Di Da Di da. No I'm not about to tell you who I don't want her to be so booked up that I can't get in anymore.

I refer to the ladies here as the Dominican All Stars - Vanessa, Okeila and Lucci. These ladies have been together on and off for 15+ years, effortlessly working pure magic on their customers hair. This full service salon is famous for their blow outs on natural or relaxed hair. I have 4c super curly, fine hair with lots of shrinkage. They can make my hair look full and thick or bone straight with just a blow dryer. They also offer relaxers, bleach, color, weave (glue or sew-in) and cuts. Lucci had stayed at Form and Style (the previous salon that all the All Stars worked at) until COVID. She is now back with Vannesa and Okeila and I find that when Lucci is working with them she has a better attitude, is not drinking beer in the salon and is much more pleasant. Beer or not, Lucci is an awesome stylist so I would put up with her either way. The current price is $35 for a wash, bring your own conditioner, roller set and style. They stayed at $25 for over a DECADE! I'm happy to pay $35 as it is still much cheaper than just about any other salon out there and the finished product (healthy hair that looks great) is top notch. There is ample parking in the strip mall and I feel that it's a pretty safe area. No issues with leaving when it is dark. Finally, we are about 22 months into the COVID-19 pandemic and masks are non-existent in this salon. I still mask in public so I make sure I mask or double mask in the salon. I will always be a super fan of these Dominican All Stars, I wish them many more years of success!!! ‍

THEY HAVE RELAXER IN THEIR SHAMPOO!!! a big no no for any natural haired woman! It takes 3-4 washes at home to get the rotten smell of relaxer out of your hair! BEWARE!!!!

First off communication is key in a hair salon I was skipped over after my wash the beautician asked what rollers I want bounce or curl I said curl (rollerset) my hair is dry I sit in the chair she starts combining the curls out still no communication so now she trying to curl my hair with curlers. But here's the real problem My hair has been natural for 15 years. my curl pattern bounce back when it's comb or brushed through. I got my hair done Saturday and I went to workout Today I'm sweating and now my hair smells like I had a perm and when I sweat my hair curls up no curls at all only in one little spot after I leave the gym I wash my hair to see if my hair curls up no still just in the one spot. So I don't know but whatever shampoo or conditioner they are using took away my curl pattern hopefully they are not adding perm to their products but my hair definitely smells like perm. So take your own products if you choose this salon!!!!!!!!

This was my first time coming to Divas! Kelly did a great job with blowing out my natural 4c hair texture. I was pleased with the service here and will recommend this place to anyone that need a good blow out!
