I recently moved to LA from Arizona and I was dreading finding another place to get my hair cut. I called ahead for an appointment, they were able to squeeze me in within a half hour, and there was no wait when I arrived. All I have to say is Maria is the PERFECT stylist for me!! She's a perfectionist, but she's also incredibly quick. It doesn't feel like you're being rushed out the door by any means, she's just THAT good. She goes above and beyond what you would expect for an $18 haircut. I will definitely be returning to Dante's for all of my haircuts in the future!! NOTE: They moved from the 11870 Santa Monica location to 11628 Santa Monica (in the same plaza as Western Bagel).

Saima is awesome!!!! She has transformed my hair. I love the creative color she does on my hair. She is thoughtful and detailed with cut and color, and her blowouts are AMAZING. I get my hair blown out once a week by her. She has moved to Arête Salon 14242414836

Best priced men's haircuts in West LA. I have been a west LA resident for 8 years and this is the first time I have found the combination of a reasonably priced good haircut. Men's haircuts are only $20. Multiple stylists have cut my hair here and all of them have been excellent. I have never had a bad outcome. I rarely make an appointment, and at most wait 10 minutes on a walk-in basis. Highly recommended!

Sharpen a fan, close your eyes and give yourself your own haircut before going here. I wanted my long thick hair just gently layered, for volume. I got a whack job instead. HORRIBLE !!!! WORST HAIRCUT OF MY LIFE !!! It will take more than a year for the mass chopping of my hair to recover. BEWARE !!!! You can say what you want in describing what you want in your haircut, but it will not be what you get. If you have long hair, and want to keep it, DON'T GO HERE ! I asked for one inch to be taken off the ends, in a layered manner. More than 6 inches was taken off. My hair around the front of my face reached my shoulders, now it is barely to my chin.
