So painful! I have arthritis in my hands. All joints are swollen and tender. Even wearing my brace, she was so rough. I've never had such a painful mail fill. I can't go back.
I've been waiting outside of DaVi Nails since 12 pm which is when they're supposed to open. It is now 12:23 pm and no one is here. There are three other people waiting. Does this place really exist?? This is not a way to run a business.
I only been going three months but I love how my nails n toes come out. They are very friendly. Price is good. Would recommend.
First of all, this Davi nails is in the Walmart, NOT in the shopping center across the street as indicated on google maps!
Secondly, I had a great experience at this nail salon! I was driving into Athens after a 6-7 hour drive. I was exhausted and had planned to chill out with a pedicure as soon as I got into town, but was cutting it close time wise. It was 7:05ish and I called every other place and they were closed, except here! at 7:15 I frantically drove around the shopping center lot that Google took me to, seeing nothing. I called them and they redirected me. When I rolled up at 7:30 and asked if it was too late for a pedicure, they were very polite and said 'no', and got me set up right away. They actually had 2 or 3 other clients at the time, and received a few others after I sat down. I didn't feel rushed at all. They have massage chairs (the most important aspect of a pedicure, IMO) and they were very polite, never once making obvious looks of judgement or witty remarks in vietnamese (would I have known?) on my prickly hairy legs.
I mean, it wasn't the most AMAZING PEDICURE EVAR, but it was good. I think he messed up my toe in one spot but who cares--I wasn't there for perfect toes; I was there to sit down and relax, and I did. Also, free water bottles, folks. I'm not hard to please. I'd come back if I'm ever over here in the buttcrack of nowhere (no offense, athens) again!
I've been to every nail salon in town and this is one of my favorites. If I didn't have to go into Walmart to get to them I would probably use them more often. Good manicure, pedicure and gel nails. I love the added neck massage when you get a manicure. Nothing fancy but nails look good and I'm a picky person.
