D & T Nails in Dunn, NC

They were about to close but she managed to fit me in last minute, tinted my eyebrows and waxed them. She was very friendly I think I just found where to get my eyebrows done. Would recommend to friends and family.

This has to be the most disappointing pedicure I've ever gotten. $35 for about 20 minutes. I come by for a mani/pedi (I chose not to get a mani because $28 for one seems ridiculous to me) and I sit for my pedi. I ask what different ones they offer or if there's a menu. The woman tells me to look at the board; there's 2. I say I was looking to get a little extra time on the massage and she proceeds to tell me they don't even massage, they do it for a like a minute. Okay...I'm already here, so I choose the classic spa (not even a spa pedicure as there's no extras; no mask, no scrub, no massage...what am I even paying for?).
I tell her I have an ingrown that is bothering me, and she does it quickly. I ask if she can maybe get in there a little more as it's still bothering me. She tells me no there's nothing more she can do. Fine.
She moves onto the callous remover and with little to no pressure for about 20 seconds. I ask her if she can do a little more on the heel (they can tend to get slightly tough at times as I'm constantly on my feet) and she responds with I'm going to use this and picks up the pumice stone. I replied with I know, but I'd like you to do a little more on the heel with the callous remover.
At this point she gets up and gets the man at the counter to come over. She says something and he puts gloves on and comes over to me. I have earbuds in, and while I see what's going on I decided to say am I doing something wrong? I asked for her to just go over my heels a little more and now she doesn't want to finish my pedi? He looks at me, and she quickly jumps in that he'll do it harder. He didn't, but I didn't even ask for it harder, I asked for her to go over it a bit more.
But let me not forget to mention all the "no's" I received meanwhile she's trying 3-4x to push gel polish on me. I don't want gel on my toes; I don't like gel on my toes. Period. You want to take my money but not do a couple of simple things I requested that's literally part of your job and the service you're doing?
I have never encountered such a passive aggressive attitude when I'm asking for things within the scope of what I'm paying for.
So the man gets to the massage, and it wasn't even a minute! He paints my toes and I go to sit in the drying area.
From start to finish including me walking in and the woman's little temper tantrum I maybe sat in the pedi chair for 25 minutes.
The man was pleasant and did do a nice job overall...and yes, the bottoms of my feet are smoother, but the woman was awful (I kept my cool and didn't react in any way) and this is a one and done for me because of her.
This is also the first time I've ever tipped less than 20%, but I tipped what I thought was fair considering the situation and the amount of work/time that was spent on my service.
The one star is for the man only.
The best part of this whole experience was the hot towel, the hot foot soak tub (because I like it on the hotter side), and the massage chair.
It's a shame too, because I live less than 5 minutes away, but I'll drive further and find a salon that will be happy to do the service I'm paying for and not give me an issue when I ask for something to be done a little better.

Recently moved to the area. I picked this place based on reviews. Mimi did such a great job. I got a full set with gel French tip. I was a little shocked at the price and instantly remembered why I stopped getting my nails done. My total was $80! I will continue to go hack. Just giving my review soothers can have an idea of what they maybe charged.

I first went here two weeks ago for a full set w/ gel and I had much skepticism as Dunn is a small older generation town but I can say I was very pleased with Mimi's work as I am back again for a fill in! I love everything about this salon EXCEPT the walk ins only rule. The owners are both super kind and attentive, theres so many color opinions in both regular and gel polish, and the prices are very affordable for such good quality. The only warning I have is to not come here in a time restraint as you never know how many people are in line before you.

I'm a local and have been in shops all around Dunn. D&T are one of my all time favorites. They are very nice, never too busy when I come and do some of the best pedicures. I got an extra long foot massage for just telling them they were swollen. Would definitely recommend this stop to all my pedicure needing people
