When I confronted them about it they accused me of doing it myself claiming outright I had an allergic reaction to the dye. My hair thinned out leaving patches when previously I went in with a full head of hair. They don't respect their customer base when things go south or if you have any kind of problem. Paid good money for a botch job. BEWARE...
My hubby has been going to Mike for years, having joining him one day, I meet Shantel, Mikes daughter, WOW who would have thought I'd find my true hair dresser, my forever hair master.... my puff of hair needed a change & boy did she work miracles.... very happy girl here!!! We love the whole staff, warm welcome when you arrive, during & when you leave you don't feel like you broke the bank but beautiful always a fun day

I met Mike at a coffee shop while I was walking my dog and he told me about his place. I don't usually go to a business to get my hair done but he made me an offer I couldn't refuse - Love it, or don't pay for it. He made time for me out of his busy schedule and took care of me. He was sure not to rush things and attended to every detail perfectly - i've never had a barber clean me up like this. He cut it better than I could have even asked for. I walked out of there looking mint! I'm still getting compliments regularly and I've noticed the ladies taking notice. My girlfriend can't get over the difference its made. Not only will i be going back regularly, she says its now mandatory! And at his rates, I can actually afford to look nice and maintain it.
Also, its worth noting that I was coming from down town New Haven - I popped on to 95 north, took it two exits to 51 and i was there. Not 6 minutes from walking out my door I was at his place, and since we aren't downtown - there's a lot so you don't have to worry about parking - super convenient
I've gotten a classic boys' cut twice at this place, both times with laura-jean, and I'm really satisfied. They don't eat up too much of my time, and I've gotten lots of compliments the following week.
This place is clean, friendly and very convenient. They've fit me in the same day each time, and I think $20 for a wash and a cut including tip is good value.
