I am new to the area and was needing to establish with a quality salon and stylist. After looking at several salons on line, I chose Copperhead. I liked that it seemed to be a more intimate salon. I hate going to salons that seem like factories. Copperhead is easy to find, has plenty of parking behind their building and has a charming atmosphere.
Stephanie Crandall was my stylist and let's just say that she worked a miracle on my head. My previous cut while in the midst of moving was AWFUL. We discussed what I was looking for and she went to work on a cut and color refresh. I got a cut that blow dries well but that also with some product from Copperhead can just be scrunched and go. It's easy, light and bouncy and FITS me and my lifestyle. Love the color too.
Stephanie works quickly but doesn't rush and wants to make sure you are happy. I also met the owner Libby, who sets the welcoming tone and comfortable ambiance. Everyone I met at Copperhead was super friendly and welcoming. I set my next appointment and know that I am in good hands. What a relief!! Thanks to all at Copperhead Cut and Color Studio.
Libby is the heart and soul of this business! It's not easy for me to find salons or stylists that know how to work with my hair. My hair is incredibly thick, wavy, frizzy, etc. and requires someone that's knowledgeable to understand what techniques works best for different hair types.
I've used other stylists in the event Libby has been booked, and have been happy with the consistent services offered by the different stylists. The salon offers Brazilian Blowouts, and may be the only salon in Ooltewah now that I think about it. They currently use Amika and Olaplex products, and have a small retail section in the front with boutique gift items.
Always a great experience. The stylists are friendly and professional. It's a beautiful old house converted to a cozy and clean salon. Definitely recommend!
