Thanks for another great cut, color, and a relaxing thorough facial! Cassandra is attentive to details and is very experienced in all of the services she provides.

Well, I just came in this salon for the first time, and mind you the salon is not large at all so I am in plain sight as I sat down. One lady was doing someone's nail and the other had her back turned for a bit. Two minutes in and sitting I was finally acknowledged. "Can I help you?" says the lady doing the nails. I basically said, "I would just like a quick haircut." The lady doing nails turned to other lady, whom spoke finally to say, hesitantly, as she is looking at me, "I don't really have any time at all today..." Then I politely asked, so should I make an appointment for next time? She had that same disinterested look on her face blurting out, "umm, yeah..." And I simply walked out. So, you would think that they would be more enthusiastic?! Instead of giving me a sour face as if it was a crime that I walked in to begin with... Secondly, how about asking me right there and then if I wanted to make the appointment for a future haircut? Honestly, if you are in a business dealing with people have the decency to provide good customer rapport. Otherwise, don't work with the public at all! "Personal care and service to all who enter into Cassandra's Salon & Spa"...quote from the owner. Really?, you could have fooled me...how about you actually practice what you preach?!

I'm so happy to give Cassandra five stars. She is either my third or fourth attempt at a decent facial for my daughter. Attention to detail and discipline are not my daughter's strong point when it comes to her skin. This results in an unattractive array of blackheads. The standard procedure has been that, when I get tired of looking at it, I try to find an esthetician to remove them with the goal of keeping things in shape going forward. Up until now, I have not found anyone with the skills or fortitude of Cassandra. Has it been that nobody else cared enough to put in the effort to clear things up, or is it that they are just not skilled enough to get it right? Whatever their problems are, my search is over. After ONE treatment, my daughter's skin is 98% perfect!! She is so happy with it, that she has been taking care of it and following Cassandra's advice. We are going back for a 30-day follow up to really get a handle on keeping things going the right direction. Cassandra was not afraid to get in there and get an unpleasant job done with wonderful results. I enthusiastically recommend Cassandra.

This place is GREAT! I had been looking for YEARS of trying to find someone who could do a great Perm...all with disastrous results! Then I went to Cassandra's Salon. Everything changed. Now I get great Perms! My two daughters go here too - One for color, cut & style; the other just for cuts. We're always happy with the results! The Salon itself is clean - VERY clean, and decorated nicely, plus it doesn't stink. Ya know, that horrid chemical smell that most salons have? Well it's not in this Salon! I've never done a facial at her place, or other services but hair (sometime later, I hope!). Give her a try because she's amazingly professional & will take extra measures to make sure that you're happy with the result!

Since moving to Placerville last June, I haven't had a good facial. And then I read about Cassandra's Esthetics Salon on Yelp. I said, I'll give it a try. AND BOY, I am so happy I went. Cassanda is a true professional. And it's so good to find a person that knows skin and how to get it feeling nice and soft again. Most of the younger esthetians I've been going to, just give you the buff and fluff treatment and my skin never feels clean. I have been getting facials for 20+ years and very particular what is put on my skin. I do not like products that have chemicals in them that you can't pronounce and once you figure out what it is, it's bad for you. I high recommend Cassandra's Salon. I also made an appointment for my next haircut/color at her shop. Thank you Cassandra!!!! I'm so happy I found you...
