Had an appointment with vixai, she was sweet professional and did exactly as I asked as far as haircut, length, layers. She then curled and styled..too bad it will never look like this when I do it  lol.  She was friendly, and pleasant the entire time too, highly recommend if you're in need of any haircuts, treatments, etc

So, I'm an easy-going guy except comes to my hair: for the last 7 years I've had the same person in Raleigh, NC cut it and I'm kind of particular.  Now I'm living on the road, needed a cut and picked Burton's based on their Yelp reviews.

They did not disappoint!  Lisa T. did my hair and she was fantastic.  She listened to my instructions, asked some questions and dove right in with professionalism and gusto, cutting it just as I'd described.  I enjoyed her attitude, attention to detail (she asked questions as we went to ensure she was getting it right) and sense of humor.  Lisa even recommended a great lunch place which was fantastic.

I'd recommend these folks without question.  Thanks Lisa for a great cut and if I'm passing through Missoula again, I'll be coming to see you!

This place has been open for many years, and after 17 years of living in Missoula I recently came here for the first time. Scheduling was easy. I was able to book online via their website. From there you can sort by the availability of each stylist or by the day. You are able to control who does your hair and there is a brief description of the stylist that you can read prior to scheduling. I booked my appointment on Sunday and made it for the next day. Kendra was my stylist and made sure my cut was exactly as I wanted it before leaving. She was pleasant and didn't rush. I was very happy with my results.

I also ended up scheduling an appointment for my teenage daughter with a different stylist (Natalya). She cut my daughter's hair just as she asked and even put some waves in it.

The salon is on the larger size with many stylists working at once. I know prices of haircuts have gone up, but they seem to charge the same as other salons in the area, if not less. I payed $60 each for our haircuts, and after looking around at other salons, some were charging $70-$80 for the exact same service. I would definitely recommend trying then out if you haven't already. I don't know why it has taken me so many years to try this salon for as many times as I have driven by over the years.
