Choosing a hair salon is often a blend of personal taste and practical considerations. Key factors to consider include the stylist's experience, customer reviews, salon atmosphere, cleanliness, and the range of services provided. Personal recommendations from friends or colleagues can also be a great way to find a salon. It might be worthwhile to visit a few salons or have consultations to gauge comfort and service.
The cost of a haircut can vary depending on the salon's prestige, the stylist's experience, and the intricacy of the cut. On average, in Nashville, a haircut can range from $20 to $150 or more. For specific pricing, it's advisable to refer to local hair salon price lists or inquire directly.
The cost of a blowout often depends on factors like the salon's reputation, and the stylist's expertise. In general, a blowout in Nashville might cost between $30 to $100. For detailed pricing, be sure to check with individual hair salons or browse their service menus.
Classic services like haircuts, coloring, and blowouts consistently remain popular. However, for the latest trends in Nashville, it's beneficial to consult with local hair salons or keep an eye on regional beauty influencers.

Weekends, especially Saturday mornings and afternoons, are often peak times for many hair salons. Additionally, weekday evenings can be busier due to clients visiting post-work. It's always a smart move to book in advance, but if you prefer a quieter environment, you can ask Breon Hair Salon about their less hectic hours.
I have gone to Breon Hair salon quite a few times and have never had an issue up until trying to book a walk in appointment. I was told they were getting a "booking alert" that I would have to have to pre pay before receiving any type of service. I was given no explanation and no one was able to inform me of any information. I went up to the salon and spoke with Elizabeth who hung up on me while I was asking her what was the message that was popping up in the system stating that I needed to pre pay and she walked off and went to speak on the phone with her boss with no explanation at all. They attempted to say that it was due to no call no shows but I asked to see that and they were not able to show proof. Beth came over and told me she was calling the cops on me for no reason and Stacy immediately let me know that wasn't going to happen and she understood what I was saying. As the situation descaled and Beth apologized "Ronnie" asked to speak with me on the phone to tell me they don't want or care about my business and completely just made the situation worse again. DO NOT GET YOUR HAIR CUT/DONE AT THIS UNPROFESSIONAL ESTABLISHMENT!!!!!!!!
Marta is the best !! my hair as it looked this good if I had it done in California... I love the salon! There is none like it and all of Nashville none like it I've ever found ! A gem
I went to my appointment that I had booked weeks in advanced and experienced something truly horrific. When I booked the appointment, I explained where my hair was at and where I wanted it to be color-wise.
When I got to my appointment, the stylist, Kendra, was almost 20 minutes late to take me back. She asked to see a picture of what I wanted. I went on google and found one very quickly (less than 30 seconds). Kendra walked away to get a quote, even though I didn't ask for one. When she came back, she said she couldn't give me a quote. I was fine with this, as I didn't ask for one and didn't care. I know that hair appointments cost money. Maybe she thought I couldn't afford it?
She proceeded to show me a picture of what she had in mind for my hair. This was completely different than what I described on the phone and completely different than what I showed the stylist when I got there. I double checked to see why we couldn't do my idea (which I had done before at this same salon) and she said it wasn't possible. I said "uh, okay" and she went to get bleach for the first process. When she got back, I asked again why we couldn't do my idea between the two different appointments I booked, as intricate color usually takes more than one appointment. (I know this, I'm not new to getting my hair done.) Instead of talking to me, she turned around immediately and got the owner.
The owner, at this time, tells me that there is nothing they can do for me because I "took too much time being indecisive". In my mind, I was very decisive about what I wanted. It seemed like Kendra might have been new, because seasoned stylists talk to their clients and don't make them wait 20 minutes past appointment time. And instead of the owner taking the time to come up with other accommodations for my hair goals, she told me there was nothing they could do for me today and that they weren't going to do my hair! I was shocked. I still had almost 3 full hours of appointment time left! I drove an hour to get there and I waited patiently even though Kendra was unprofessionally late.
Honestly, my request wasn't unreasonable. The owner was rude and condescending. Breon denied me service even though I had multiple appointments booked, understood that my hair goals could only be achieved my multiple appointments, and clearly stated what I wanted upfront.
I will never go back to this salon and will never recommend.
Stacy is a great stylist, and I will miss her haircuts, but today was my last visit. 25 minute wait for my appointment with another stylist, and I had to leave because I had a full schedule today. I made the appointment with another stylist because my schedule wouldn't work with Stacy's, and that's ok. Most people here give a good haircut. What's not ok is leaving me waiting.
That's the way we handle appointments in my business - we make them, and then we keep them. If we don't, how could we expect to keep a client?
They didn't keep the appointment they scheduled with me, and wasted half an hour of my lunch. There are other places to get a haircut, I'll use one of them.
I wanted to try a different hair salon and landed on Breon. Steven from Salon Blonde is off on my only available days so I gave Breon a shot. I called, scheduled my appointment and was quoted over the phone. I was told the bleach and tone for the stylist was starting at $140. I went to my appointment assuming that quote was accurate. I get to my stylist, sit down, we chat about what I needed and she then proceeds to tell me "Let me go calculate your quote" which I thought was a bit odd being that I was already given one from her. She then proceeds to tell me it's going to be over THREE HUNDRED dollars for a bleach and tone. Salon Blonde, the exact same service, is only $137 and that is from a level 3 stylist. I'm in the cosmetology industry myself and I know this woman was 100000% trying to get over. Sorry, honey, I'm not paying your rent. I'll never come back again. I'm sticking with Steven. Not to mention, she didn't even do my roots which is what I paid her over $200 for. It looks like she bleached it and never toned it which was included in the service that I paid for. Maliyah is a hair stylist that I would never go back to and do not recommend to anyone.
