Brenda's Hair Studio & Spa in Loveland, CO

I went to Brenda for over two years and recently made a change.  I am so happy now!  With Brenda, my wonderful soft highlights turned me into almost a complete white blonde.  Any color she used to try to lowlight washed out in about 7 days.  Cuts were poorly done.  Cash only and no records so I would venture to say she is not paying taxes.  No set prices.  She scribbles down on a worn index card what you last paid (including tip) and then charges that full amount the next time and expects a tip in addition to the higher amount.  Very distracted with calls from family, focus on boyfriends' wealth (one now a husband) and the latest crisis all while you sit there being ignored.  Oh... I just read CV's review and I concur completely.  You nailed it, CV.

When I first went to Brenda, she knocked it out of the park and helped to repair a poor color job. I was ecstatic at having found her. Unfortunately, it went downhill from there. Each time she seemed overly preoccupied by her life dramas and was distracted from the job at hand. She messed up on the cut severely, as well as the color. After all the work to get the color right, she made it dark again. I gave her a few more opportunities to get it right, but the downward trend continued. She's an obsessive worrier focused on everything except the head of hair in front of her. The last straw was when she told me the price was $20 more than it ever was before. She quoted me what I typically give her with a nice tip. That's not professional.
If you like to gamble, give her a try, but you better catch her on a good (non-drama) day.

I moved to the area a couple of years ago, but I've had trouble finding a stylist. I'm not interested in trendy colors or styles and Brenda had all good reviews. When I called I was able to get an appointment only 10 days out so I decided to give her a try.

Her salon is clean and she was friendly. She listened to my concerns and made great suggestions. She asked if it was ok to trim some damaged hair off before she started cutting. She checked in with me during the process instead of surprising me at the end.

I made an appointment to fix my brassy color for the next week. She created a beautiful color that is the perfect fit for me. I'm so happy with my experience!

Brenda is awesome! I was very excited to find a hair stylist who took the time to make a hair cut recommendation versus just giving me a trim which was my plan but then I decided to cut a little more off. I wanted a change but normally just stick to the same ole same ole. Prior to arriving, I decided I would possibly have more cut off and with Brenda's assurance and recommendation I did. I was very happy with my hair cut and will be going back to Brenda. I highly recommend her!
