Christine is no longer working at BOM nail, I tried going to someone else and I was not satisfied. So I no longer go to the nail salon.
Great first experience here! I called on a Sunday morning to see if they could fit me in for a gel manicure and gel pedicure and they were very accommodating--I was able to come in within half an hour. The pedicure was good, no frills for the regular but it wasn't rushed. Lots of options to upgrade for extras like scrubs, hot stones and paraffin. They also took the time to do some extra coats since I picked a light/translucent color which I appreciated. The manicure was quick but well executed. My nails were all different shapes and sizes and my manicurist was able to make them all uniform in no time. My thumb nails are always difficult due to shape and ridges but after my appointment was done everything looked great and no one would have any idea! Will definitely be back.
Great customer service! The manicurist squeezed me in for a manicure when they were closing soon and I appreciated that. I had just gotten out of work and it was my birthday and I begged them if I could get my nails done quickly. Nice people!
Great pedicure. Ladies were lovely. However, my powder gel done by Paty started to chip 48hrs. after my appointment. She was also unfortunately not very nice and spoke poorly of me in Spanish, which I speak fluently. She was unaware of this. Because of the chipped nail, I went back on day 3 and they fixed it, without incident. Unfortunately, the following day, on day 4, five other nails started to chip and break. Now as of today, one week from my appointment, I currently only have two nails that are in good condition, when a typical powder gel application lasts me at least 2 weeks, if not 3, without any chips/cracks. I considered going back to get them fixed a second time, but decided that tipping someone yet again, for one set of nails I've already tipped twice for, isn't smart (over 20% tip both times if I may add because of my history in service industry). Therefore, I have decided to go elsewhere and start from scratch. Should be noted, this is my first review ever, which is testament to how unfortunate the experience was.
I cannot recommend this place enough. Kevin is a miracle worker. I got my nails done for my wedding on 10/11. The picture below is my nails today!! Almost 4 weeks later. Not a single chip, just some growth and obviously my cuticles are a mess again. But omg they survived my honeymoon where I was in the pool hours a day for 6 days!! Run, don't walk, to get your nails done here
