Belladona Salon & Spa in Cape Girardeau, MO

The salon itself is very nice, no issues there. The people working in the salon were also nice; however when someone I've never met before decides how she wants my hair to look, despite my opinion on how I want my hair to look, and I am the paying customer, we have a problem. I asked for a partial highlight and trim/cut. The moment I sat in the chair I was being solicited for a gloss to go over my existing color. I felt like I was at the car dealership, being talked into a service I did not need. Once I hesitantly agreed to what I thought was a clear gloss " for shine and boosting the hair cuticles", I was not happy to discover when the towel came off a completely altered hair color. Why give me blonde highlights on the back and add an ashy cast on top of it? I was very upset, but tipped too generously anyway. Went home and contacted salon personnel who did refund the gloss treatment. But I am still left with icky red golden beige mess that I had to go buy a clarifying shampoo to fade it out. Also highlights will fade with it. I paid $134 for a haircut is what it comes down to. Salon never offered any solution or even got back to me like they said they would. If this is the best Cape Girardeau has to offer, you might want to go somewhere else!

This salon/ boutique reminds me of the fabulous up-scale boutique salons in Las Vegas and LA!  Great staff.  Everyone is so friendly.  Many has helped me find the right red to go with my skin tone and Caroline has brought my skin back to life post pandemic!  I'm feeling fab and looking just as amazing.

Great atmosphere. Kamryn did a great job with my hair. She is leaving there to work elsewhere but my overall experience there was very nice. All the stylist seem to do excellent work. Especially with color. Great experience. Highly recommended.

As a recommendation from a friend, I made my first appointment at this location about 2 months ago in need of GOOD color. That's what I found with Chelsea who is, in my opinion, one of the best stylists I've ever had color and style my hair. I've been coloring for about 22yrs! - This is an Aveda exclusive salon so it smells heavenly. You know the products are high end and that the training is top notch. This is my 2nd time back and traveled from St. Louis just to see Chelsea. Highly recommend her and this particular location. (I did not have such a great experience with booking at the other location initially and am so glad it worked out to come to this one).

I went online and purchased a gift certificate for a friend a couple weeks ago. She had an amazing experience up until it was time to redeem the certificate, apparently they changed systems and run into an issue. She called me upset and slightly embarrassed due to the fact that there was several people looking to checkout and she was holding everyone up. I called to find out what the issue was and was given a brief explanation, I ended the call and left it at that. Roughly an hour later I received a call from my friend stating that the owner/manager called her and apologized for the inconvenience and give her a certificate for the inconvenience. Needless to say I will be sending her here again!!!! GREAT customer service!
