Bella Vita Salon & Day Spa in Leavenworth, KS

My old hairstylist (from a different salon) quit doing hair with no notice. I called this one and was fit in 3 days later! My hair has never felt healthier and the color looks great!

Another great hairstyle from my new stylist Laura! She cut my hair perfectly last time and this time she did just the right amount of touchup highlights. She's a lovely gal who listens well and takes her job seriously! Price was on par with many other salons - maybe even slightly cheaper!

Had a gel manicure done by Stephanie and it looks amazing!! It's been a week already and they still look as if I just got them done. She was very professional, kind, helpful, and fun to chat with. Great experience. Highly recommend!!!

I would just recommend getting a good reference on who your stylist is.  I was new to town, and this looked like a very nice salon and not bad reviews. So, I had my roots  done once by a gal, I won't name names, and it was ok.  She was really rough though like knocking my head to the side every time she went in to manipulate the hair.  When I wanted to go darker all over, I decided to give her one more shot, and man was I disappointed.  The color was darker than what I wanted, and when I tell you I had a ring off hair color left from my ear over forehead to my other ear is no joke. Just laughable! I said is this going to come off as she scrubbed extra hard with a towel.  She said well I can't do it to you, but you can go home and use nail polish remover on it!!!!!  She also gave me a warning she wasn't feeling great so she wouldn't be conversating too much. Which is fine because I don't really know her, but to say that seems very unprofessional as well as leaving color on my skin to stain.  I was thinking, 'thank goodness I don't have an important meeting or something the next day because that stain wasn't coming off."  
Next, I took my daughter to have her eyebrows waxed for the first time.  Went to a different stylist. She didn't ask about preferences, and just waxed away and then started to trim when I finally said NO, she is 14 and we aren't going for really groomed look.  Natural is what we wanted.  I said just clean them up.  I should have said just clean up the bottom. We don't want them thin, and we don't want it taken off the top and we definitely don't want them trimmed.  For her first time having them done in a salon it was very disappointing.  So, NO I won't come back here.

I've been in twice for the spa pedicure. The salon is very nice, modern, clean, and everyone is very friendly.I really wanted this to be my pedicure place. But I think the pedicure is a little over priced for what you get. Maybe I'm just picky. They use high end products but I want my technician to really get in there, cut my nails down (both times I requested short, my nails grow really fast but they cut conservatively and just filed) and really clean up the cuticles. Both times I left with an eh feeling.
