Update: The owner called me an hour after I posted this, and resolved the issue graciously. Hair NIGHTMARE with Anna Rose. I knew she was a bit impulsive, because previously at a bang trim she trimmed my *eyebrows* without warning or discussion. Trimming the bangs and suddenly, she's trimming the eyebrows (on purpose). Once she started that, I thought, well she might as well finish it so they look the same! But with the other positive reviews here, there's no way I predicted that she would do what she did when I came in for a cut and foils this week. I asked to trim the ends, keep some long layering, and add dark auburn foils (the photo I showed her is attached). My hair was a little longer than my collarbone, and I asked her to keep it longer than shoulder level, because it would flip otherwise--and I can't stand it. We spent about 20 minutes looking at colors. We chose two dark auburns, one a little lighter than the other for "highlighting and dimension." Great. Well, fast forward a couple hours and within the auburn, Anna has given me blonde highlights. BLONDE. At no point did we use the word "blonde" in our planning. I never said it, she never said it, we didn't plan on any colors besides the two auburns, we didn't even look at any colors that weren't dark auburn or dark red. Why in the world did she put blonde in my hair?? She tells me she thought it was understood with the word "highlight." That's it--no other discussion, and she decides on blonde. WOW. She offers to see me the next day to fix it, and says it was "a miscommunication maybe on (her) end." She says this so fast like she's said it a hundred times, and I want to throw up. We set a time, and later it dawns on me--my base color is a darker brown with some grey, and to get blonde, don't you have to lift color out first? I text her. She doesn't reply. The next day, I ask for chocolate brown foils to cover the blonde she just put in. I also ask her if she lifted color out. She mumbles something about "with any highlighting that's part of it"--so this woman not only chose to put blonde in without clearing it with me, she also damaged my hair in the process without getting my consent. Can this get worse? YES! The pictures you see here were taken AFTER the brown color was applied--there is still blonde plainly visible. When I saw this, my jaw dropped. I asked her if she could give me some color-depositing conditioner for the brown she applied. She gave me enough for 2-3 applications.

This is a great salon and Anna Rose is an excellent stylist! I saw her for the first time last week and she listened to what I wanted, and did a wonderful cut and color! I am so glad I found Anna Rose and recommend her services.

I have some serious phobias when it comes to going to a new stylist. Diane did a great job on my hair! It was a pleasant experience and I love the color of my hair The other stylists were super friendly too!

Anna Rose is absolutely fabulous! I needed a real rescue and she knocked it out of the park!!

I wish I'd found this place ages ago. It's such a great atmosphere, for one--you can sense it when you walk in. I hadn't had my hair cut in over two years because of Covid (turns out they would have accommodated my inability to wear a mask), and in that time the texture of my hair changed a lot. Curls galore. Anna Rose did a great job giving me a new "do" the first visit then new color the second visit a few weeks later. I like that they are environmentally kind too.
