Brought my son for a haircut showed the lady what I wanted and she just did whatever she wanted. Avoid

Went in yesterday for my first time ever at this salon &I will be posting pictures of why I would NOT go back to this place EVER. I went in w/an actual appointment &everything seemed to be going alright until I got my hair washed... my whole entire clothes was drenched in what I thought was only water until I got home &realized my entire clothes was ruined. I'm never one to try to defame a place but I think that for the price that was charged for my hair ($500.00) it was very unprofessional of ANYONE to have allowed me to walk away from that place looking the way I did when I am 110% sure that the person who worked on my hair DID notice she had ruined my clothes. Her excuse was: I did not notice that I had ruined your clothes like that. LIE! After washing my hair, she dried it, "straighten" it &even placed a towel on my BACK to not get me "sick" but now looking back, she offered to straighten my hair for "free" so that my hair could cover the damage on my clothes &that explains why she was trying to rush me out of that chair by the time she was almost done.. judge for yourselves &what's worse is that it was THE ACTUAL OWNER of this place who worked on my hair &charged for the job. Also annoying AF was when her daughter starts touching my hair who was NEVER in charge of working on me to begin w/to start commenting on how just for straightening they would charge $65! Ridiculous prices I tell you, taking into consideration that the salon to begin with is in such a ghetto ass area!

The service has been declining over the years. After two previous disappointments at this salon I wanted to give them one last chance, because I believe in supporting our local businesses. But, this last time did it for me. The cons: stylist attitudes, don't give you what you ask for. I am specifically talking about an older lady that works there (not the owner), and an older man named Michael. Her excuse is that you have too much hair or too little hair she has cut my hair and my daughter's. I actually take a picture to show her and she still doesn't get it right. I know she can't do it because I actually take the same picture at other salons and the stylist gets it right. Both times with her have been a disappointment. She also cut my daughter's hair and after she showered we saw how uneven it was, I had to take her to another salon to get it fixed and the stylist was shocked that a professional stylist did such a bad job. Unfortunately, these salons are farther and busier so I came here. And Michael who cut my hair but says he can't do a blowout so the other newer stylist has to do it. By the way, this last time I went because I thought the newer stylist would be there but she wasn't.

Love love love getting my haircuts here. I've always been a regular with Luis but he recently left the salon and I recently had my first cut with Michael. So after over 15 years of cutting my hair with Luis, I loved my haircut with Michael too! Great work! I've recommended about 5 friends there and most of them have gone back. I would recommend Michael for a haircut.

They were good but got a attitude & seem like the hate the job. I walked in the salon to request a perm & the hesitates to have it done. So I left disappointed that I had to go somewhere else to have it done.
