Beautiful Image in Fort Smith, AR

I have been cutting my hair at Beautiful Image for 8 years now.  She does a good job with cutting hair but lately it hasn't looked the same,sometimes she can get carried away with talking and lose focus on cutting your hair. It's hard to tell her how I want my hair because she doesn't stop talking. Another thing that has annoyed me is that her price is never consistant...I tried to reason with myself and think well maybe she charge more when she does more to it, but the other day I went I asked for her keep the length and and just some layers (long layers) which means less cutting for her and trim my side bangs.She talked me in to cutting an inch off.  I told her not to add texture to my hair and just keep it simple again less work for her.  When she was done, I asked her how much I owe her and she said $27.00 dollars!!  As I mentioned earlier,the price changes all the time but this time reallysurprised me, especially for what i asked for. I finally asked her how does she determine the price because i was curious to why it changes all the time. I felt like she was taking advantage of me because she knows I normally leave a good tip. When I asked her about the price,she just mumbled and said "yea it's how short I cut" and something else.  She just walked away. I never got a clear answer. I don't mind paying more for a nice hair cut but it would be nice to know the set price between hair cut and a hair trim. I know it can change at any time but it doesn't make sense to me that one day I go in there she charges $22 for more work done on it and like the other day she hardly did anything to it and charged $27! It wasn't even a cut, just a trim. I have asked others that has gone to her and they weren't charged that much and for the same cut. I was also dissapointed that day because she started on my hair and then left for 10 minutes to get on her facebook. I was sitting there with wet hair until she finally got back to continue cutting my hair.  I think it's overprice for not including a hair wash or having it styled. I think it's all bad customer service to leave the clients sitting there after she have already started on the cutting.  I always leave there with a wet hair.  I think it's time to find a new place.  It just seems like she is more focus on cutting men hair than women.

I've been going to her for 8 years! Hope she never retires because I don't where to go!! But yes the only thing bad is the wait!

Nong has been cutting my hair for the past 10+ years, and the only  dislike I have about this place is NO appointments. It is first come and first serve, and she has people waiting for her before she even opens. I recommend you have a lot of time to kill or spare before if you go because the wait is usually a long one.
